The Kalamazoo Growlers and Traverse City Pit Spitters started off the night with a strong performance by Kalamazoo taking the win 8-1. The Growlers took charge during the second inning scoring a whopping six runs bridging the gap wider between Traverse City.  Eau Claire Express defeated the Thunder Bay Border Cats after a close and nail-bitting game with an ending score 5-4. Lastly, the Mankato MoonDogs destroyed the Bismarck Larks with a final score 16-3 tonight with great performances from Tanner Craig (Evansville) and Ben Rowdon (Gardner-Webb). 

La Crosse Loggers 8, Duluth Huskies 5

The La Crosse Loggers once again defeated the Duluth Huskies during tonights game with a score of 8-5. The Huskies and Loggers currently hold the same season record now due to the Loggers win tonight. La Crosse had a strong second inning scoring five runs to take the lead over the Huskies for the remainder of the game. Kyson Donahue (Arizona) had one RBI and a triple for the Loggers. Duluth’s Milan Walla (Oklahoma) hit a double and two RBIs during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Nick Eaton (Butler) pitching five innings with six hits, three runs, two walks, and three strike outs. During the last inning, La Crosse Loggers Jared Freilich (Penn State) assisted with the save giving up zero runs, zero hits, zero errors, and one strike out. The losing pitcher was Huskies Austin Smith (Southwestern University) who had six hits, six runs, three walks, and three strike outs. 

Battle Creek Bombers 6, Kenosha Kingfish 2

The Battle Creek Bombers rallied the Kenosha Kingfish and took the win during tonights game. The final score was 6-2, Bombers grabbing the win. Battle Creek’s John Malcom (Vanderbilt) hit one home run, one double, and three RBIs. Nate Thomas (Saint Josephs University) from Kenosha scored one home run and two RBIs tonight. The losing pitcher was Kingfish’s Troy Hickey (Madison College) with one hit, two runs, three walks, and zero strike outs. While the winning pitcher from the Bombers was Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma) pitching two inning total with zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and two strike outs. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 8, Wisconsin Woodchucks 5

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders overcame the Wisconsin Woodchucks and won with a final score 8-5. The Woodchucks had the lead until the top of the eight inning when the Spider scored four run sweeping the lead away from Wisconsin. Brandon Seltzer (Palm Beach Atlantic) scored one home run from the Woodchucks as well as two RBIs. Andrew Schleusner (Montana State Billings) received two RBIs for Fond du Lac. The winning pitcher was Spiders Thomas Jager (Robert Morris University) with four hits, two runs, zero walks, and two strike outs during his two inning period. Then, Nathan Thomas (Northern Illinois) was the saving pitcher of the game having zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and two strike outs. Wisconsin’s losing pitcher was Jose Varela (FIU) pitching one inning with two hits, five runs, two walks, and zero strike outs. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 8, Rockford Rivets 3

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Rockford Rivets tonight with a final score 8-3. Jackrabbits Jeff Timko (Eastern Michigan) hit a triple, two RBIs, and two runs during tonights game. For the Rivets, Nick Figus (Illinois Wesleyan) and Josh Dudden (Creighton) received one RBI each. Tonights pitcher of the game was Kokomo’s Aaron Husson (UMBC) with five hits, three runs, two walks, and four strike outs. While, the losing pitcher was Rockford’s Anthony Holubecki (Notre Dame) giving up three hits, two runs, two walks, and one strike out. 

Bismarck Larks 3, Mankato MoonDogs 16

The Bismarck Larks were demolished by the Mankato MoonDogs after their tough loss during tonights game. The final score was 16-3. Mankato had a solid eighth inning scoring nine runs to continue their lead and raise the final score even higher. For the Larks Alex Peterson (Missouri) scored a home run along with two RBIs. While, MoonDog’s Ben Rowdon (Gardner-Webb) hit one home run, five RBIs, and one double. Another great performance was from Tanner Craig (Evansville) with one double, one triple hit, and four RBIs for Mankato. The winning pitcher was Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) pitching a strong seven innings with six hits, two runs, three walks, and eight strike outs. While, the losing pitcher was Bismarck’s Brian Leonhardt (San Diego State) giving up six hits, three runs, one walk, and five strike outs. 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 4, Eau Claire Express 5

The Thunder Bay Border Cats were defeated in an extra inning game by the Eau Claire Express in a close loss 5-4. The Cats tried to comeback from their unscored first inning but it wasn’t enough to caught up to Eau Claire. Nate Soriano (Houston Baptist University) scored one home for Thunder Bay along with hitting a double. While Express’ Matt Bottcher (Illinois- Chicago) had two RBIs and one hit during tonights game. The winning pitcher of the game was Jack Brown (Minnesota-State) who gave up only one hit, one run, zero walks, and three strike outs. While the losing pitcher from the Border Cats was Aaron Kern (Minot State University (ND)) pitching one inning with one hit, one run, zero walks, and one strike out. 

Waterloo Bucks 1, Rochester Honkers 4

Rochester Honkers beat the Waterloo Bucks during tonights game. The final score was 4-1, with the Honkers scoring one run each in the first, third, fourth, and sixth innings. Rochester’s Evan Berkey (Cal State Bakersfield) and Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) scored one home run each. Berkey also received two RBIs, one hit, and one run tonight. The losing pitcher was Bucks Drew Irvine (Iowa) with six hits, four runs, two walks, and zero strike outs. While the winning pitcher was Dwayne Marshall (Maryland-Eastern Shore) pitching six innings giving up three hits, one run, two walks, and five strike outs. In the last inning, Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) swooped in for the save having zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and one strike out.

Madison Mallards 1, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 12

Madison Mallards were destroyed by the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 12-1 during tonights game. The Rafters came out of the gates swinging scoring consistent runs all throughout the game during each inning. Richie Schiekofer (Rutgers), Jake Dunham (Northern Illinois), and Adrian Williams (University of Nevada- Las Vegas) all scored one home run each for Wisconsin. Dunham also hit one double and three RBIs. The winning pitcher was Jack Sinclair (UCF) pitching a solid six inning giving up four hits, zero runs, zero walks, and three strike out for the Rafters. While the losing pitcher was Quinn Gudaitis (Illinois Wesleyan University) with five hits, eight runs, one walk, and two strike outs. 

St. Cloud Rox 8, Willmar Stingers 3

The St. Cloud Rox crushed the Willmar Stinger 8-3 during tonights game. Within the first four innings the Stinger were in the lead with two runs until the Rox scored four runs during the top of the fifth taking over the lead and grabbing tonights win. St. Cloud’s Brett Bonar (University of Nebraska-Omaha) and Hance Smith (California-Berkeley) both scored home runs along with RBIs. Smith received four RBIs, three hits, and one run. Stinger’s Sam Baier (Augustana University) scored the one and only home run along with two RBIs. The winning pitcher of the game was Rhyse Dee (Wake Forest University) pitching four innings with one hit, two runs, three walks, and two strike outs. While the Stingers losing pitcher was Garret Rukes (Alabama)  having seven hits, five runs, two walks, and five strike outs during his six innings of work. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 1, Kalamazoo Growlers 8

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters tonight with a final score of 8-1. The Growlers took control during the second inning scoring a unbelievable six runs to take the lead over the Spitters. Kalamazoo’s Emilio Rosas (USC) and Shea Kramer (University of Utah) each scored one home run along wth Rosas received three RBIs and Kramer had two RBIs. The winning pitcher was Growlers Michael Dunkelberger (Indiana University) pitching a solid six innings with four hits, one run, zero walks, and six strike outs. While the losing pitcher was Traverse Cities Garett Simmons (Ball State) giving up four hits, five runs, four walks, and zero strike outs during his one inning time at the mound. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 1, Green Bay Booyah 2

Green Bay Booyah won against the Lakeshore Chinooks tonight in close game 2-1. Both teams scored one run in the second but the Booyah came together to score another point in the fourth to take the win over the Chinooks. Jarrett Ford (Florida International) had one RBI and two hits along with Joe Mason (Mount Olive) double hitter. The winning pitcher was Nick Riggle (California (PA)) pitching five innings with four hits, one run, one walk, and two strike outs for the Green Bay Booyah. Jared Godman (Oklahoma) came in for the save in the last inning giving up one hit, zero runs, zero walks, and two strike outs. While, the losing pitcher from Lakeshore was Aaron Ras (Wayne State College) who had two hits, one run, four walks, and three strike outs.
