The Kalamazoo Growlers and Kokomo Jackrabbits started off the night with a great game. The Growlers took the win with a final score of 4-1. Kalamazoo improved their season record to 10-11. The Green Bay Booyah were defeated by the Wisconsin Woodchucks with a final score 5-2. Great performances were by Adam Frank (FDU) and TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) who scored one home run each for the Woodchucks. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6, Lakeshore Chinooks 7

The Lakeshore Chinooks beat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in a close win. The final score was 7-6. The game was a back and forth scoring battle between the two teams but the Chinooks out scored the Spiders in the eighth inning. Cameron Hart (Lansing CC) had a double along with two RBI. The winning pitcher was Luke Sommerfeld (Clemson) who pitched one inning with no runs and no hits. Will Klein (Eastern Illinois) swooped in for the save from the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. The losing pitcher was Nathan Thomas (Northern- Illinois). 

St. Cloud Rox 12, Duluth Huskies 3

The St. Cloud Rox crushed the Duluth Huskies with an ending game score of 12-3. The Rox took control over the Huskies in the top of the third inning scoring five runs. St. Cloud had eleven hits and twelve runs total. Hance Smith (California-Berkeley) hit a double and three RBI. Huskies Nic Kent (Virginia) hit one home run and two RBI. The winning pitcher was St. Cloud Rox Ben Dotzler (Creighton) while the losing pitcher was Duluth’s Spencer Koelewyn (Nebraska, Omaha). 

Green Bay Booyah 2, Wisconsin Woodchucks 5

The Wisconsin Woodchucks came out of the gates swinging and captured the win against the Green Bay Booyah scoring two runs during the bottom of the first. The final score was 5-2. Wisconsin had a total of ten hits and five runs tonight. Adam Frank (FDU) and TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) hit one home run each for the Woodchucks. Frank also had three RBIs. The winning pitcher was Myles Gayman (Barry University) who pitched a strong five innings with four strike outs and two runs. Tom Ambrosino (Adelphi University) swooped in for the save during the last inning for Wisconsin. Green Bay’s losing pitcher was Zach Chappell (North Florida). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 9, Waterloo Bucks 3

The Waterloo Bucks got walked over by the Thunder Bay Border Cats during tonights game with the Cats scoring five runs in the top of the fifth taking the win. The final score was a blow out 9-3. Andrew Shebloski (Saint Mary’s College (CA)) had two RBIs and Jake Engel (Dixie State University (UT)) hit one double for the Cats. The winning pitcher was Lucas Reid (Sacramento City College) pitching four innings giving up two runs and three hits. The losing pitcher was Drew Irvine (Iowa) for the Waterloo Bucks. 

Willmar Stingers 1, Mankato MoonDogs 0

The Willmar Stingers captured the win against the Mankato MoonDogs. The final score was a close 1-0. Stingers Cal Elvers (Miami (OH)) had one RBI and one double hit. The winning pitcher was Polo Portela (Cumberland) who pitched an impressive six innings giving up no runs and two hits. Casey Cobb (Alabama) was the saving pitcher for Willmar. Mankato’s losing pitcher was Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) who had one run, three hits, and six strike outs during his seven innings at the mound. 

La Crosse Loggers 4, Eau Claire Express 9

The Eau Claire Express out scored the La Crosse Loggers 9-4 tonight with the Express having twelve hits and nine runs total throughout the game. Ryan Holgate (Arizona) hit one home run and one RBI for the Loggers. Eau Claire’s Matt Bottcher (Illinois- Chicago) received two RBI and hit a triple. The winning pitcher was Craig Colen (Cal Poly) with one run and four strike outs during his three innings at work. While, La Crosse’s losing pitcher was Jacob Little (Texas State). 

Bismarck Larks 6, Rochester Honkers 3

The Bismarck Larks beat the Rochester Honkers with the Larks taking control in the top of the ninth scoring two runs. The finals score was 6-3. David Mendham (Connors State CC) had three RBI and one double hit for the Larks. Rochester’s Ryan Wrobleski (Dallas Baptist University) and Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) both had an RBI. The winning pitcher was Gage Herring (UNC Wilmington) and Bradley Collins (Mass Amherst) swooped in for the save for the Bismarck Larks. Rochester’s losing pitcher was Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) with five strike outs during his one inning period. 

Kenosha Kingfish 3, Battle Creek Bombers 8

The Battle Creek Bombes shut down the Kenosha Kingfish with a end game score of 8-3. The Bombers came together scoring eight runs in the last two innings to shock the Kingfish and capture the win. Erik Owen (Tyler Junior College) had two RBI and hit a double for Battle Creek. The winning pitcher was Pablo Arevalo (Barry) with no runs or hits during his one inning of work. The losing pitcher was Troy Hickey (Madison College) for the Kenosha Kingfish.  

Kalamazoo Growlers 4, Kokomo Jackrabbits 1

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits during their series with a final score 4-1. The Growlers had a total of four runs and nine hits throughout the game. Dakota Kotowski (Missouri State University) hit a triple and one RBI for Kalamazoo. Both Anthony Cocco (Grand Valley State University) and Hunter Thorn (Purdue Northwest) had one RBI and one double each. The winning pitcher was Braydon Nelson (St. Bonaventure University) who threw six innings giving up one run and two hits. Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University) came in for the save for the Growlers. The losing pitcher was Caleb Reinhardt (Evansville). 

Rockford Rivets 8, Traverse City Pit Spitters 2

The Rockford Rivets demolished the Traverse City Pit Spitters during tonights game with a final score of 8-2. During the top of the fifth the Rivets scored five runs to broaden the lead between the Spitters. Cam McDonald (Illinois) hit one double along with three RBI. Another solid performance was by Rockford’s Tom Josten (Central Florida) who received two RBI. The winning pitcher was Nate Schneiderman (Dubuque) and the losing pitcher was Will Buraconak (Indiana State). 

Madison Mallards 4, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 1

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters were defeated by the Madison Mallards during tonights game with a final score of 4-1. Mallards Ben Anderson (Georgia), Timo Schau (Southern-Wesleyan), and Drew Williams (San Jose State) received one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Lowell Schipper (University of Richmond) who pitched a solid five innings allowing no runs, two hits, and eight strike outs pass home during his time at the mound. Wisconsin’s losing pitcher was Jack Sinclair (UCF).
