The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and the Green Bay Booyahs competed this afternoon with the Rafters shutting the Booyahs in both games in their double header series. The Thunder Bay Border Cats racked in another win against the Mankato MoonDogs during tonights game with a close final score 3-1. The La Crosse Loggers demolished the Duluth Huskies tonight with a final score 14-3. 

Green Bay Booyah 0, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 7 (Game #1)

The Green Bay Booyah were shut out by the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score 7-0. The Rafters had seven runs and seven hits throughout the game. Jaylen Guy (Liberty University), Peter Matt (Penn), Roman Trujillo (New Mexico State), and Luke Bowman (St. Cloud State) all had one RBI for Wisconsin. The winning pitcher was Gareth Stroh (Nebraska) who pitched all seven innings giving up no runs, five hits, and five strike outs for the Rafters. Green Bay’s losing pitcher was Jack Mahoney (Milwaukee). 

Green Bay Booyah 1, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 2 (Game #2)

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters took another win over the Green Bay Booyah during their double header series. The final score was a close 2-1. The Rafters had five hits and two runs throughout their second game. Edarian Williams (University of Nevada-Las Vegas) hit one walk-off home run along with one RBI. The winning pitcher was Wisconsin’s Brayden Bonner (Dixie State) while the losing pitcher was Green Bay’s David Rajeski (Pacific).

Rockford Rivets 0, Kenosha Kingfish 2 (Game #1)

The Kenosha Kingfish defeated the Rockford Rivets 2-0 with the Kingfish scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Rivets Branden Comia (Illinois) hit one double and Kenosha’s Roberto Pena (University of Florida) had one RBI. The winning pitcher of the game was Kingfish Gabe Bierman (Indiana University) who gave up no runs, two hits, and seven strike outs during his solid seven innings. The losing pitcher was Cooper Cain (Valdosta State). 

Rockford Rivets 1, Kenosha Kingfish 2 (Game #2)

The Kenosha Kingfish won their second game against the Rockford Rivets of their double header series. The final score was a close 2-1. Both teams really came together scoring their runs but the Kingfish came together scoring two run in the bottom of the ninth. Both Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) and Ryan Knernschield (Eastern Illinois University) had one RBI each from Kenosha. The winning pitcher was Harry Orth (Wisconsin-Oshkosh) from the Kingfish. While, the losing pitcher was Tanner Propst (Louisiana Tech). 

Madison Mallards 5, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4

The Madison Mallards won over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders taking control in the last few minutes of the game scoring three runs in the top of the ninth. Spiders Aaron Anderson (Flagler) hit one home run along with two RBI. Madison’s Justice Bigbie (Western Carolina) received two RBI and one double hit. The winning pitcher was Aidan Tyrell (Notre Dame) and the saving pitcher was Theo Denlinger (Bradley) both pitching one inning each. Fond du Lac losing pitcher was River Carbone (Arizona Christian University). 

Duluth Huskies 3, La Crosse Loggers 14

The La Crosse Loggers dominated over the Duluth Huskies with a final score 14-3. The Loggers had a total of twelve hits and fourteen runs throughout the game. Huskies Danny Zimmerman (Michigan) hit two home runs and three RBI. Tony Bullard (Arizona) had one home run along with three RBI for La Crosse. The winning pitcher was Landry Wideman (Texas AM) pitching a solid five innings with one run and one hit. The losing pitcher was Duluth’s Troy Newell (Western Kentucky). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 13, Wisconsin Woodchucks 6

The Lakeshore Chinooks demolished the Wisconsin Woodchucks 13-6. Lakeshore had a total of thirteen runs and sixteen hits throughout tonights game. Chinooks Mike Trautwein (Northwestern), Cameron Hart (Lansing CC), and Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky) all hit home runs. Hart also had three RBI with Doersching and Trautwein receiving two RBI each. Wisconsin’s TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) had one home run along with two RBI. The winning pitcher was Ryan Schmit (Butler) and Bailey Vuylsteke (Miami-OH) who swooped in for the save. Woodchucks losing pitcher was JC Ariza (Howard Community College).  

Eau Claire Express 10, Waterloo Bucks 9

Eau Claire Express defeated the Waterloo Bucks in a close game with a final score 10-9. The Express pulled through and grabbed the win over the Bucks scoring five runs in the top of the eighth inning. Patrick Ferguson (Kent State) and Matt Campos (Hawaii) both hit one home run for Waterloo. Eau Claire’s Brandon Dieter (Stanford) had one home run along with three RBI. The winning pitcher was Kuster Kinlecheenie (Montevallo) and Brannon Jordan (Cowley CC) who both pitched two innings with no runs and no hits for the Express. The losing pitcher was Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State). 

Rochester Honkers 5, Willmar Stingers 13

The Willmar Stingers crushed the Rochester Honkers with an ending score 13-5. The Stingers had an impressive bottom of the eighth scoring nine runs to dominate over the Honkers and took the win. Ryan Ober (Oregon State University) scored one home run and Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) hit two home runs for the Stingers. Peterson also received three RBI. The winning pitcher was Willmars Christopher Peres (La Verne) pitching three innings with no runs and two hits. The losing pitcher was Mike Lopez (Cal State San Marcos). 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 3, Battle Creek Bombers 4

The Battle Creek Bombers captured a close win against the Traverse City Pit Spitters. The final score was 4-3. Battle Creek’s Josh Sears (Freed Hardeman) had two RBI and one double hit. The Spitters, Mario Camilletti (Oakland University) and Jake Arnold (University of North Georgia) received two RBI. The winning pitcher Pablo Arevalo (Barry) who had no runs or hits during his two innings at the mound. Bombers Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma) came in for the saving pitch with no runs or hits as well. Traverse Cities Chad Patrick (Purdue Northwest) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

St. Cloud Rox 8, Bismarck Larks 3

The St. Cloud Rox beat the Bismarck Larks with a final score 8-3. The Rox hit a total of eighteen hits and eight runs. Hance Smith (California-Berkeley) hit one home run along with two RBI. The winning pitcher was Carter Bosch (Georgetown University) pitching five innings with one run and two hits. The losing pitcher was Larks Evan Glew (Franklin Pierce University). 

Mankato MoonDogs 1, Thunder Bay Border Cats 3

The Thunder Bay Border Cats pulled it together in the bottom of the seventh inning scoring two runs to capture the win over the MoonDogs. The final score was 3-1. Cats Jakob Newton (Florida Tech) and Anthony Galati (Sacramento City College) both received two RBI. Nate Soriano (Houston Baptist University) and Nick Seamons (University of Nevada-Reno) hit one double each. The winning pitcher was Mark Anderson (Lafayette College (PA)) who pitched a strong six innings with no runs, two hits, and seven strike outs. Aaron Kern (Minot State University (ND)) swooped in for the save from Thunder Bay. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Tyler Lesley (Angelo State). 

Kalamazoo Growlers, Kokomo Jackrabbits

Tonight’s game in Kalamazoo between the Growlers and the Jackrabbits has been postponed due to weather.The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, June 21, in Kalamazoo starting at 5:05. Both games will be seven innings and the second game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
