The Battle Creek Bombers and Kokomo Jackrabbits started off this afternoon with the Jackrabbits defeating the Bombers. The final score was 6-3. The Traverse City Pit Spitters rallied for the win over the Kalamazoo Growlers scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning. The ending game score was 6-3. The Thunder Bay Border Cats pulled through and beat the La Crosse Loggers during their twelve inning game today. The final score was 7-6. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 1, Green Bay Booyah 4

The Green Bay Booyah beat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders with a final score or 4-1. The Booyah dominated during the bottom of the sixth scoring three runs to take the win over the Spiders. Justin Greene (Louisiana Lafayette) had one RBI and one double for Green Bay. The winning pitcher was Chandler Ingram (Montevallo) and the saving pitcher was Jared Godman (Oklahoma) both pitching one inning for the Booyah. The losing pitcher was Ryan Bader (Northwestern). 

Mankato MoonDogs 2, Rochester Honkers 6

The Rochester Honkers crushed the Mankato MoonDogs with an ending game score of 6-2. The Honkers started off the game strong scoring five runs in the bottom of the first to capture the lead. Ryan Ober (Oregon State University) hit one home run along with three RBI. Another great performance was by MoonDogs Nick Novak (Angelo State) and Tyler Casagrande (Arizona) who both hit one double. The winning pitcher was Ryan Middendorf (Lake Erie College) who pitched a solid seven innings giving up two runs, five hits, and six strike outs. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Nick Hull (Grand Canyon). 

Rockford Rivets 1, Kenosha Kingfish 6

The Kenosha Kingfish dominated the Rockford Rivets 6-1. In the seventh inning, the Kingfish scored three runs to conquer and win against Rockford. Kingfish Roberto Pena (University of Florida) received three RBI and one double. Another great performance was by Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) having two RBI and one run during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Kenosha’s Matthew Plisko (Macalester College) who pitched a solid five innings with no runs, three hits, and five strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kyle Seebach (Northern Illinois) from the Rivets. 

Battle Creek Bombers 3, Kokomo Jackrabbits 6

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Battle Creek Bombers 6-3 this afternoon. The Jackrabbits had a total of ten hits and six runs throughout todays game. Evan Albrecht (Purdue) received two RBI and one triple hit for Kokomo. Battle Creek’s Josh Sears (Freed Hardeman) and Jack Merrifield (LSU-Eunice) had one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Jackrabbits Bayden Root (Ohio State) who pitched one inning with no runs and one hit. Blaine Traxel (CSU-Northridge) swopped in for the save during the last inning for Kokomo. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma). 

La Crosse Loggers 6, Thunder Bay Border Cats 7

The Thunder Bay Border Cats pulled through and took the win over the La Crosse Loggers twelve inning game this afternoon. The final score was a super close 7-6. The Border Cats came together in the bottom of the 12 inning and outscored the Loggers by one run to capture the win. Jake Engel (Dixie State University (UT)) received a double and two RBI. For La Crosse, Brady Allen (South Carolina) had three RBI and one triple. The winning pitcher was Aaron Kern (Minot State University (ND)) who gave up one run and no hits during his one inning at the mound. Loggers losing pitcher was Lalo Porras (Lewis Clark State). 

Kalamazoo Growlers 3, Traverse City Pit Spitters 6

The Traverse City Pit Spitters rallied and battled for the win over the Kalamazoo Growlers today. The final score was 6-3. Traverse City had a strong first inning scoring four runs and never looking back to let the Growlers catch up. Andrew Morrow (Michigan State) hit two home run and four RBI. The winning pitcher was Garett Simmons (Ball State) who pitched two inning with no runs and one hit for the Pit Spitters. Jon Beuckelaere (Madonna University) came in for the saving pitch during the last inning with no runs, three strike outs, and one hit. The losing pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Michael Dunkelberger (Indiana University). 

Eau Claire Express 6, Waterloo Bucks 7

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the Eau Claire Expreess in a close and nail-bitting game. The final score was 6-7. The Bucks had a great fourth inning scoring four runs to capture the lead over the Express. Patrick Ferguson (Kent State) hit two home runs and three RBI for Waterloo. The winning pitcher was Jack Parkinson (Rutgers) pitching four innings with three runs and three hits for the Bucks. Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State) came in for the save. The losing pitcher was Eau Claire’s Nick Alvarado (Illinois- Springfield). 

Madison Mallards 6, Wisconsin Woodchucks 5

Another close game between the Madison Mallards and the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The Mallards won against the Woodchucks 6-5. Madison had a total of six runs and twelve hits throughout the game. Drew Benefield (Louisville) and Andre Nnebe (Santa Clara Athletics) both hit one home run for the Mallards. Nnebe also had three RBI and Benefield received two RBI. Wisconsin’s Angel Tiburcio (FIU) had a solid game with one home run and three RBI. The winning pitcher was Mallards Lowell Schipper (University of Richmond) who gave up two runs, three hits, and seven strike outs during his six inning time of work. The losing pitcher was Myles Gayman (Barry University) from the Woodchucks. 

Duluth Huskies 12, Bismarck Larks 11

The Duluth Huskies put a win under their belt against the Bismarck Larks tonight. The final score was a close 12-11. The Huskies had an unbelievable third inning scoring seven runs to take the lead over Bismarck. Ramon Enriquez (Oklahoma Baptist) hit one home run along with three RBI. The winning pitcher was Alex Rao (Notre Dame) from the Huskies giving up no runs and two hits during his two innings the mound. The losing pitcher was Larks Hunter Kloke (Indiana University- Southeast). 

Willmar Stingers 3, St. Cloud Rox 8

The St. Cloud Rox stole the win from the Willmar Stingers with a final score 8-3. The Rox had an impressive bottom of the eighth scoring five runs  to take the win over the Stingers. Willmar’s Noah Haupt (New Mexico State) hit one home run. St. Cloud’s Garett Delano (Brown University) had five RBI and one triple hit. The winning pitcher of the game was Max Rippl (Kent State) who gave up one run and two hits during his two inning of work. The losing pitcher was Stingers Christopher Peres (La Verne). 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 0, Lakeshore Chinooks 3

The Lakeshore Chinooks shut out the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final sore 3-0. The Chinooks scored all three runs during the seventh innings to defeat the Rafters. Lakeshore’s Jake Artz (St. Joseph) hit one triple and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Parker Coyne (South Carolina) who pitched a strong seven innings with no runs, two hits, and eight strike outs. Will Klein (Eastern Illinois) swooped in for the save in the last inning. The losing pitcher was Jack Sinclair (UCF) from Wisconsin.
