The Rockford Rivets and Battle Creek Bombers started off the night with the Rivets capturing the win over the Bombers. The final score was a close 3-1. The Bismarck Larks demolished the Duluth Huskies tonight with a final score 21-0. The Larks scored eight runs in the bottom of the third inning to begin their shut out over the Huskies. The Traverse City Pit Spitters improve their season record (17-13) after their shut out win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (15-13). The ending game score was 4-0. 

Bismarck Larks 21, Duluth Huskies 0

The Bismarck Larks blew out and demolished the Duluth Huskies tonight with a final score 21-0. During the third inning, the Larks took control over the Huskies scoring eight runs. Bismarck had eighteen hits and twenty-one runs total throughout their impressive offensive game. Stephen Baughan (Norfolk State) hit two home runs, one grand slam, and seven RBI for the Larks. The winning pitcher was Drew Mesecher (West Texas AM) with no runs and two hits during his six innings of work. The losing pitcher was Duluth’s Dennis Boatman (UCLA). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 2, Wisconsin Woodchucks 4

The Wisconsin Woodchucks won against the Lakeshore Chinooks with the Woodchucks taking control of the game right out of the bat scoring two runs. The final score was 4-2. Chinooks Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky) had one RBI and one double. Wisconsin’s Javier Rosario (Hillsborough CC) and Santino Miozzi (University of Florida) both received one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Beau Nichols (Lincoln Memorial University) who gave up one run, four hits, and four strike outs during his seven innings at work. Lenny Gwizdala (Northwood University) came in for the save. The losing pitcher was Lakeshore’s Aaron Ras (Wayne State College). 

Mankato MoonDogs 4, Eau Claire Express 2

The Mankato MoonDogs beat the Eau Claire Express 4-2. The MoonDogs had a total of seven hits and four runs throughout tonights game. Tanner Craig (Evansville) hit one home run and one RBI for Mankato. Eau Claire’s Troy Beilsmith (Evansville) had one RBI and hit one double. The winning pitcher was Nick Schmidt (Missouri State) pitched a solid eight innings giving up no runs, two hits, and nine strike outs. The losing pitcher was Express Matt Verdun (Lewis). 

Green Bay Booyah 4, Madison Mallards 10

The Madison Mallards controlled the Green Bay Booyah scoring six runs in the bottom of the third inning to being bridging the gap between the Booyah. The final score was 10-4. Madison’s E.J. Ranel (Lenior-Rhyne), Ben Anderson (Georgia), and Jordan Stephens (Miami Ohio) all had two RBI each. The winning pitcher was AJ Archambo (Oral Roberts) from the Mallards pitching four innings with four runs and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Green Bay’s Nick Riggle (California (PA)). 

Waterloo Bucks 15, La Crosse Loggers 9

The Waterloo Bucks blew the La Crosse Loggers out of the park tonight with an impressive final score 15-9. The Bucks had twelve hits and fifteen runs throughout tonights entire game. Bennett Hostetler (North Dakota State) and Alonzo Rubalcba (Santa Barbara City CC) hit one home each for Waterloo. Hostetler hit two doubles and four RBI. Loggers Ryan Holgate (Arizona) received one home run, one double, and three RBI. The winning pitcher was Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State) and the losing pitcher was Tyler Shingledecker (Penn State). 

Rochester Honkers 0, Willmar Stingers 5

Another shut out of the night! The Rochester Honkers were defeated by the Willmar Stinger 5-0. The Stinger scored two run in the bottom of the fifth and continued with the momentum to capture the win over the Honkers. Justin King (Alabama) hit one run along with two RBI for Willmar. Another great performance was by Daniel Walsh (Sacramento City) receiving two RBI for the Stingers. The winning pitcher was Polo Portela (Cumberland) who pitched six inning with no run, five hits, and nine strike outs. The losing pitcher was Rochester’s Ryan Dorney (Saint Martins University). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 3, St. Cloud Rox 9

The Thunder Bay Border Cats lost against the St. Cloud Rox during tonights game with a final score 0f 9-3. The Rox had a total of nine runs and ten hits throughout the game. Landon Stephens (Miami-Ohio) hit one home run, three RBI, and one double for St. Cloud. Thunder Bay’s Jordan Larson (Northern Illinois University) received two RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Rox Justin Simanek (Southeastern Louisiana) with one run, four strike outs, and three hits during his five inning of work at the mound. The losing pitcher was Trent Valentine (Iona College (NY)) from the Border Cats.

The Rockford Rivets defeated the Battle Creek Bombers in a close battle 3-1. The Rivets had a total of seven hits and three runs. Jake VanderWal (Long Beach State) received two RBI and hit one double. The Bombers Jake Merrifield (LSU-Eunice) had one RBI. The winning pitcher was Trevin Eubanks (Valdosta State) who pitched one inning with no runs or hits. Rockford’s Tanner Propst (Louisiana Tech) swooped in for the save in the last inning. Battle Creek’s losing pitcher was Jordan Rhodes (McDaniel). 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 4, Kokomo Jackrabbits 0

The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Kokomo Jackrabbits 4-0. Traverse Cities Hudson Byorick (Wofford) hit one double and one RBI for the night. Chase Keng (UT- San Antonio) also had one double along with one RBI for the Jackrabbits. The winning pitcher was Andrew Hoffman (Oakland University) who pitched a solid five innings giving up no runs, three hits, and six strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Creede Jeffers (UC-Colorado Springs). 

Kalamazoo Growlers 5, Kenosha Kingfish 4

The Kalamazoo Growlers pulled through and defeated the Kenosha Kingfish in their 11 inning extra battle tonight. The final score was a close 5-4. Roberto Pena (University of Florida) hit one home run and one RBI for the Kingfish. Growlers Clay Owens (USC) hit a double and one RBI. Kalamazoo’s winning pitcher was Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University) who pitched a solid three innings giving up no runs, one hit, and seven strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kenosha’s Colton Gordon (Hillsborough Community College). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 7

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters crushed the Fond du Lac Dock Spider with an ending game score 7-4. The Spiders had the lead during the first two innings but the Rafters rallied and took control and took the win. Peter Matt (Penn) received three RBI and one double hit for the Rafters. Fond du Lac’s Duncan Hunter (Jacksonville) had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Gareth Stroh (Nebraska) who pitched a solid six innings with seven strike outs. Jimmy Borzone (Dixie State) swooped in for the last two innings and was the saving pitcher of the game for Wisconsin. The losing pitcher was Spiders Houston Glad (Texas Wesleyan).
