The Rockford Rivets and Kalamazoo Growlers started the night off strong with the Rivets taking the first win of the day. The final score was 6-3. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters were crushed by the Wisconsin Woodchucks with an ending score of 13-3. The Woodchucks had a total of fourteen hits and thirteen runs. The Rochester Honkers shut out the Mankato MoonDogs 7-0 during tonights game.   

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3, Wisconsin Woodchucks 13

The Wisconsin Woodchucks demolished the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score 13-3. The Woodchucks scored a consistent amount of runs to dominate and capture the win throughout the game. Rafters Matt Oldham (Elon) hit one home run and one RBI. The Rafters Brandon Seltzer (Palm Beach Atlantic), Santino Miozzi (University of Florida), and Cameron Swanger (University of Missouri) all received one home run each. Byron Murray (Lynn University) hit two home run and three RBI. The winning pitcher was Trey Horton (Georgia State University) pitched a strong eight innings giving up three runs, eight hits, and five strike outs. The losing pitcher was Rafters Neil Abbatiello (Wagner). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 4, Duluth Huskies 8

The Duluth Huskies defeated the Thunder Bay Border Cats during tonights game with a final score 8-4. The Huskies scored an impressive five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning for the win. Border Cats Joe Jimenez (Chapman University (CA)) received two RBI, one double, and one triple. Duluths Wade Meckler (Oregon State) who had a double hit and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Ricky Reynoso (University of the Pacific) who pitched a solid six innings who gave up seven strike outs and three runs. The losing pitcher was Thunder Bays Alex Dafoe (Friends University (KS)). 

La Crosse Loggers 6, Eau Claire Express 3

The La Crosse Logger won against the Eau Claire Express during tonights game with an ending game score of 6-3. The Loggers brought it together in the bottom of the eighth scoring three run to defeat the Express. La Crosse Jack Filby (UCLA) received three RBI. Eau Claire’s Phillip Sikes (Pima CC) had two RBI. The winning pitcher was Loggers Zach Pronschinske (UW La Crosse) pitched a strong seven innings with two runs and three hits. Jared Freilich (Penn State) came in for the saving pitch. The losing pitcher was Colt Mink (Flagler) who pitched six innings giving up two runs, five hits, and four strike outs. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 11, Madison Mallards 5

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders beat the Madison Mallards with an easy win and a final score 11-5. In the first inning, the Mallards scored four runs to take the win but the Spiders rallied together and captured the win starting off in the top of the third. Fond du Lac’s Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) hit one home run and five RBI. Madison’s Ben Anderson (Georgia) hit one triple during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Spiders Max Abramovich (Central Missouri) and the losing pitcher was Mallards Jarrett Scheelk (Madison College). 

Rockford Rivets 6, Kalamazoo Growlers 3

The Rockford Rivets added another win under their belt after their win against the Kalamazoo Growlers. The final score was a close 6-3. Tom Josten (Central Florida) received two RBI and hit one double for the Rivets. For the Growlers, Drew Blakely (University of Virginia) and Zach Gelof (University of Virginia) both each had one RBI. The winning pitcher was Kasey Ford (Kansas State) who pitched a strong six innings with one run and four strike outs. Rockford’s Dugan Darnell (Adrian College) swooped in for the saving pitch in the last inning of the game. Kalamazoo’s losing pitcher was Michael Paredes (San Diego State University). 

Waterloo Bucks 3, St. Cloud Rox 5

The St. Cloud Rox won over the Waterloo Bucks with a close score 5-3. The Rox had a total of nine hits and five runs. Brady Harlan (University of Oklahoma) hit two doubles and one RBI for St. Cloud. Jordan Barth (Augustana University) hit two RBI. The winning pitcher was Rox Carter Bosch (Georgetown University) had three runs and four hits during his six innings of work. Pedro Garcia (Georgia Gwinnett College) pitched the last inning for the save. The losing pitcher was Waterloo’s Zach Jones (Spalding). 

Bismarck Larks 6, Willmar Stingers 5

The Bismarck Larks beat the Willmar Stingers in a close battle with a final score 6-5. The Larks had six runs and eleven hits total throughout tonights game. Willmar Justin King (Alabama) scored one home run, one double hit, and three RBI. For Bismarck, Stephen Baughan (Norfolk State) hit one home run and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Bradley Collins (Mass Amherst) who pitched a strong five innings with three runs, five hits, and five strike outs. Bismarck’s Evan Miller (Xavier) came in for the save in the last two innings. The losing pitcher was Jack Zigan (Minnesota State-Mankato). 

Rochester Honkers 7, Mankato MoonDogs 0

The Rochester Honkers shut out the Mankato MoonDogs 7-0. The Honkers had eleven hits and seven runs throughout their full game tonight. A.J. Miller (University of Oregon) received three RBI and one double from Rochester. MoonDogs Adan Fernandez (FIU) hit one double. The winning pitcher was David Lemasters (Lake Erie College) who pitched seven innings giving up no runs, two hits, and five strike outs for Rochester. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Trent Baker (Angelo State). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 9, Green Bay Booyah 0

The Lakeshore Chinooks shut out the Green Bay Booyah tonight with an ending game score 9-0. The Chinooks rallied and scored five runs during the top of the ninth to blow out the Booyah. Lakeshore’s Cameron Hart (Lansing CC) received two RBI. The losing pitcher was Green Bay’s Jack Mahoney (Milwaukee). The winning pitcher was Chinooks Grant Hartwig (Miami-Ohio) who pitched for five innings giving up no runs, one hit, and eight strike outs.  

Battle Creek Bombers 4, Traverse City Pit Spitters 12

The Traverse City Pit Spitters defeated the Battle Creek Bombers with a final score 12-4. The Pit Spitters hit an impressive five runs in the bottom of the seventh to capture and take over the lead. Hudson Byorick (Wofford) had two RBI and hit one triple for Traverse City. The winning pitcher of the night was Chad Patrick (Purdue Northwest) who pitched a solid six innings with four runs, eight hits, and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Josh Hranicky (Lamar). 

Kokomo Jackrabbits, Kenosha Kingfish 

Tonight’s game in Kenosha between the Kingfish and the Jackrabbits has been suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning due to light failure. The game will be completed tomorrow, June 28, as part of a doubleheader in Kenosha starting at 5:00 and it will be completed to nine innings. The second game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game and it will be nine innings as well.
