The Kokomo Jackrabbits and Kalamazoo Growlers started the night off with a bang with the Growlers coming out on top. The final score was 8-6 in their first game of the teams doubleheader series. The Mankato MoonDogs pulled through with the win over the Bismarck Larks. The ending game score was a close 4-1. The Green Bay Booyah shut out the Rockford Rivets with an ending game score 5-0. Green Bay’s Jack Mahoney (Milwaukee) blew out and crushed the competition pitching all nine inning giving up no runs or hits. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 6, Kalamazoo Growlers 8 (Game #1) 

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits in their first game of the night. The final score was 8-6. The Growlers had an impressive bottom of the sixth scoring five runs to bridge the gap between Kokomo. Chase Keng (UT-San Antonio) and Ben Livorsi (Minnesota St-Mankato) hit one home run and two RBI each for the Jackrabbits. Kalamazoo’s Drew Blakely (University of Virginia) received one double hit and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Dion Henderson (Texas Christian University) while the losing pitcher was Creede Jeffers (UC-Colorado Springs). 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 0, Kalamazoo Growlers 6 (Game #2)

The Kalamazoo Growlers shut out the Kokomo Jackrabbits with a final score 6-0. This was the Growlers second win of the night against the Jackrabbits in their double header series. Zack Gelof (University of Virginia) had three RBI. Jimmy Sullivan (University of Virginia) hit one double and one RBI from Kalamazoo. The winning pitcher was David Toth (Hillsdale College) who pitched a strong four inning giving up no runs, two hits, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Lucas Folmar (Mercyhurst). 

Eau Claire Express 10, Duluth Huskies 7

The Eau Claire Express rallied for the win over the Duluth Huskies with a final score 10-7. The Huskies had an impressive seventh inning scoring a total of seven runs but it was not enough to outscore the Express. Brock Burton (Grand Canyon) hit one triple and one RBI during tonights game. Huskies Xavier Bussey (Pensacola State College) had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Eau Claire’s Brannon Jordan (Cowley CC) giving up no runs or hits during his two innings of work. The losing pitcher was Duluth’s Alex Rao (Notre Dame).  

Lakeshore Chinooks 15, Kenosha Kingfish 5

The Lakeshore Chinooks dominated the Kenosha Kingfish with a blow out score 15-5. In the top of the fourth inning the Chinooks scored four runs to take the lead over the Kingfish. The Chinooks had a total of fifteen runs and twelve hits. Mike Jarvis hit a triple and one RBI from Kenosha. Lakeshore’s Ronnie Sweeny III (Iowa Western) hit two double and four RBI. The winning pitcher was Jesse Slinger (Lock Haven) who pitched five innings giving up four runs and four strike outs. The games losing pitcher was Kenosha’s Kaleb Schmidt (Drury University). 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3, Fond du Lac Doc Spiders 5

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders won over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. The final game score was a close 5-3. The Spiders took control right off the bat scoring two runs in the bottom the first. Fond du Lac’s Aaron Anderson (Flagler), Zeb Adreon (Iowa), and Duncan Hunter (Jacksonville) hit one RBI each. The winning pitcher of the game was Conor Dryer (Central Missouri) who pitched two innings with one run, three hits, and three strike outs. Spiders Maxwell Cioffi (Mississippi) came in for the saving pitch in the last inning. The losing pitcher was Rafters Izzy Fuentes (Faulkner). 

Madison Mallards 7, Wisconsin Woodchucks 9

The Wisconsin Woodchucks beat the Madison Mallards in a solid battle. The ending game score 9-7. The Woodchucks rallied in the bottom of the ninth inning scoring four runs to steal the win over the Mallards. Brandon Seltzer (Palm Beach Atlantic) hit one home run and four RBI for Wisconsin. Mallards E.J. Ranel (Lenoir-Rhyne) hit two double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Tom Ambrosino (Adelphi University) who pitched two innings with no runs and one hits. Madison’s Nick Morales (San Jose State) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Waterloo Bucks 0, Rochester Honkers 1

The Rochester Honker defeated the Waterloo Bucks in a nail-bitting and close game. The final score was 1-0. The one and only run was scored by the Honkers in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the win. Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one home run along with one RBI for Rochester. Waterloo’s Matt Campos (Hawaii) hit one triple during the game. The winning pitcher was Evan Layne (Lake Erie College) who pitched five innings with no runs, five hits, and four strike outs. Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) swooped in for the save in the last inning given gap no runs or hits for the Honkers. The losing pitcher was the Bucks Drew Irvine (Iowa) with one run, three hits, and four strike outs during his five innings at the mound. 

Battle Creek Bombers 3, Traverse City Pit Spitters 5

The Traverse City Pit Spitters beat the Battle Creek Bombers with an ending game score 5-3. The Pit Spitters started the game off strong scoring four runs in the bottom of the second inning. Traverse Cities Hudson Byorick (Wofford), Mario Camilletti (Oakland University), and Daniel Head (New Mexico State) hit one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Kyle Jones (University of Toledo) who pitched seven innings giving up two runs, four hits, and five strike outs. Pit Spitters Joe Pace (University of Michigan) swooped in for the save in the last inning. The losing pitcher was Bombers Lyle Hibbitts (Tyler Junior College) pitching a solid seven innings. 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 3, La Crosse Loggers 4

The La Crosse Loggers beat the Thunder Bay Border Cats 4-3 during tonights game. The Loggers dominated in the bottom of the seventh inning scoring three runs to capture the win. Ryan Holgate (Arizona) hit one home run and three RBI for the Loggers. Thunder Bay’s Conor Allard (University of Nevada-Reno) and Nate Soriano (Houston Baptist University) received one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Loggers Matt Kennedy (St. Josephs) who pitched seven innings with three runs, four hits, and eight strike outs. Jack Filby (UCLA) swooped in for the saving pitch. The losing pitcher was Border Cats DJ DePiero (Bradley University (IL)). 

Willmar Stingers 1, St. Cloud Rox 2

The St. Cloud Rox won against the Willmar Stinger in a close final score 2-1. The Rox rallied and pulled through with the win in the bottom of the ninth scoring one run. St. Cloud’s Ben Carew (Kent State University) and Freddy Achecar (Georgetown University) received one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Pedro Garcia (Georgia Gwinnett College) pitched one inning giving up no runs, no hits, and two strike outs for the Rox. The losing pitcher was Willmar’s Bryant Claunch (North Alabama). 

Rockford Rivets 0, Green Bay Booyah 5

The Green Bay Booyah shut out the Rockford Rivets with a final score 5-0. The Booyah pulled through in the bottom of the seventh scoring three runs to capture the lead and win. Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) and Brady West (North Greenville) had two RBI and one double hit for Green Bay. The winning pitcher was Booyah Jack Mahoney (Milwaukee) blowing out all nine inning giving up no runs, not hits, and nine strike outs. The losing pitcher was Rivets Cooper Cain (Valdosta State). 

Mankato MoonDogs 4, Bismarck Larks 1

The Mankato MoonDogs demolished the Bismarck Larks with an strong 4-1. The MoonDogs had a total of four runs and eight hits during tonights game. Adan Fernandez (FIU) hit one home run along with one RBI from Mankato. The winning pitcher was Tyler Lesley (Angelo State) who pitched all nine innings with one run, six hits, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Bismarck’s Josh Gray (LSU-Alexandria).
