The Kalamazoo Growlers started the night off with a bang defeating the Kenosha Kingfish in a close battle 4-3 during game #1. Kalamazoo took control of game #2 with an ending game score 4-3. The Duluth Huskies dominated the Thunder Bay Border Cats with an ending game score of 10-1. The Huskies had a total of ten runs and seventeen hits. The St. Cloud Rox defeated the Mankato MoonDogs in a strong 10-1. Garett Delano (Brown University) hit two home runs and four RBI for the Rox. 

Kenosha Kingfish 3, Kalamazoo Growlers 4 (Game #1) 

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kenosha Kingfish in a close game of the teams double header series. The final score was 4-3. The Growlers pulled through in the bottom of the ninth inning scoring one run to capture the win over the Kingfish. Jimmy Sullivan (University of Virginia) hit two triples and two RBI from Kalamazoo. Kenosha’s Brendan Hueth (Saint Joseph University) and Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) had one double each. The winning pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University) in the last inning with no runs and no hits. The losing pitcher was Kenosha’s Matt Helwig (Wisconsin-Parkside). 

Kenosha Kingfish 3, Kalamazoo Growlers 4 (Game #2) 

The Kalamazoo Growlers beat the Kenosha Kingfish adding another double header win under their belt. The final score was another close 4-3. Mike Rodriguez (Texas AM University) and Shea Kramer (University of Utah) both hit home runs for the Growlers. Kramer also hit two RBI with his teammate Rodriguez receiving one RBI. Kenosha’s Luke Stephenson (Xavier University) hit one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Pete Joseph (Northwood University) with no runs, one hit, and two strike outs during his one inning at the mound. The losing pitcher was Kingfish Tanner Fallon (Loras College). 

Rochester Honkers 4, La Crosse Loggers 1

The Rochester Honkers crushed the La Crosse Loggers in the top of the seventh inning scoring four runs. The final score was a strong 4-1. Aaron Simmons (UW-Stevens Point) hit one RBI and one triple for Rochester. Another great performance was by his teammate Mitchell Allen (New Mexico State University) with one RBI and one double during tonights game. The winning pitcher was David Lemasters (Lake Erie College) who pitched six inning giving up one run, six hits, and four strike outs. Marc Bisogno (Fordham University) swooped in for the saving pitch for the Honkers. The losing pitcher was La Crosse’s Matt Kennedy (St. Josephs). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4, Madison Mallards 6

The Madison Mallards beat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders with a final score 6-4. The Mallards rallied in the bottom of the ninth inning scoring four runs to capture the win over the Spiders. Justice Bigbie (Western Carolina) hit one home run and three RBI for Madison. Fond du Lac’s Tate Kolwyck (Vanderbilt) and Tim Elko (Mississippi) both had home runs. The winning pitcher was Brian Weissert (Fordham University) with no runs, one hits, and one strike out during his two innings of work. The losing pitcher was Spiders Max Cioffi (Mississippi).  

Green Bay Booyah 5, Lakeshore Chinooks 2

The Green Bay Booyah defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks with an ending game score 5-2. The Booyah had five runs and nine hits during tonights game. Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky) hit one home run along with one RBI for the Chinooks. Booyah Brady West (North Greenville) received one double hit and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Dalton Wiggins (Marietta) who pitched three innings with no runs, one hit, and four strike outs. Tanner Lane (Pittsburg State) swopped in for the saving pitch in the last inning of the game. The losing pitcher was Grant Hartwig (Miami-OH). 

Waterloo Bucks 3, Eau Claire Express 11

The Eau Claire Express demolished the Waterloo Bucks with ending game score 11-3. The Express’ had a total of eleven runs and thirteen hits throughout tonights game. Eau Claire’s Nick Lopez (Illinois-Chicago) hit one double and three RBI. Brock Burton (Grand Canyon) received one double and two RBI for the Express. The winning pitcher was Nick Alvarado (Illinois-Springfield) who pitched an impressive eight inning with one run, five hits, and eight strike outs . The losing pitcher was Waterloo’s Drew Zimmerman (BYU). 

Bismarck Larks 1, Willmar Stingers 6

The Willmar Stingers beat the Bismarck Larks with a final score 6-1. The Stingers hit six runs and nine hits throughout the game. Justin King (Alabama) had two RBI and one double for Willmar. Larks Alex Peterson (Missouri) received one RBI and Clay Woeste (Indiana University-Southeast) with one double. The winning pitcher was Trevor Divinski (Minnesota State-Mankato) who pitched seven innings with no runs, five hits, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Bismarck’s Hunter Kloke (Indiana University-Southeast).

Wisconsin Woodchucks 7, Traverse City Pit Spitters 5

The Wisconsin Woodchucks won against the Traverse City Pit Spitters with an ending game score 7-5. The Woodchucks had a total of seven runs and nine hits throughout the game. Wisconsin’s TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) receieved two RBI and Kenny Rodriguez (Seminole State College FL) hit one double. Traverse Cities Mario Camilletti (Oakland University) had two RBI. Nate Madej (FL Southwest State College) was the winning pitcher of the game with one run and five strike outs in five innings of work. Woodchucks Lenny Gwizdala (Northwoods University) came in for the save and Kyle Jones (University of Toledo) was the losing pitcher. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 2, Battle Creek Bombers 3

The Battle Creek Bombers beat the Kokomo Jackrabbits in a battle with a final score 3-2. The Jackrabbits rallied to try to capture the win but it was not enough to overcome the Bombers. John Malcom (Vanderbilt) and Trace Peterson (Lake Erie College) both hit one RBI for Battle Creek. The winning pitcher of the game was Lyle Hibbitts (Tyler Junior College) who pitched a strong seven innings with two runs, six hits, and eight strike outs. Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma) came in for the save during the last inning. The losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Parker Sisovsky (Kalamazoo College). 

Rockford Rivets 1, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters started off the first inning out strong scoring all four runs to capture the win over the Rockford Rivets. The final score was a close 4-1. Edarian Williams (University of Nevada- Las Vegas) had one double and one RBI from Wisconsin. The winning pitcher was Hayden Petrovick (UC Riverside) with no runs, two hits, and three strike outs during his two inning of work. Rafters Brayden Bonner (Dixie State) swooped in for the saving pitch during the last inning of the game. The losing pitcher was Rivets Hunter Keim (Quincy). 

Duluth Huskies 10, Thunder Bay Border Cats 1

The Duluth Huskies demolished the Thunder Bay Border Cats during tonights game. The final score was 10-1. In the second inning, the Huskies took control and scored four runs to capture the win over the Border Cats. Max Guzman (Faulkner University) hit two RBI and one double from the Huskies. Another of Duluth’s teammates, Justin Moore (Stanford) hit two RBI. The winning pitcher was Ricky Reynoso (University of the Pacific) who pitched six inning with one run, five hits, and nine strike outs. Dennis Boatman (UCLA) swooped in for the saving pitch during the last three innings. The losing pitcher was Thunder Bay’s Joe Moran (Anderson University (IN)). 

Mankato MoonDogs 1, St. Cloud Rox 10

The St. Cloud Rox crushed the Mankato MoonDogs with the Rox scoring a consistent number of runs throughout the game to take the win over the MoonDogs. The Rox had a total of ten runs and ten hits making runs after each play they had tonight. St. Cloud’s Garett Delano (Brown University) hit two RBI and four RBI. Ben Carew (Kent State University) received one triple and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Trevor Koenig (St. Cloud State) who pitched six inning with one run, three hits, and seven strike outs. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Nick Schmidt (Missouri State).
