The Traverse City Pit Spitters stomped over the Battle Creek Bombers this afternoon shutting out the Bombers 10-0. The Pit Spitters had an impressive second inning scoring five runs to continue their domination throughout the game. The Rockford Rivets rallied during the tenth inning scoring the winning run to capture the win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits. The final score was a nail-bitting 4-3. 

St. Cloud Rox 10, Bismark Larks 4

The St. Cloud Rox defeated the Bismarck Larks again with an ending game score of 10-4. The Rox started the game off with a strong start scoring four runs in the first inning and then continuing their lead for the remainder of the game. Jack Kelly (Northwestern University) hit one home run and three RBI for St. Cloud. Bismarck’s Matt Warkentin (Xavier) had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Trae Robertson (Missouri) who pitched five innings giving up two runs, three hits, and striking out two. The losing pitcher was Larks Drew Mesecher (West Texas AM).  

Kokomo Jackrabbits 3, Rockford Rivets 4

The Rockford Rivets rallied for the win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits with a final score 4-3. The game went into extra innings with the Rivets scoring one run during the bottom of the tenth with an assist of Jonny Butler (North Carolina State) to capture the victory. Josh Dudden (Creighton) and Jake VanderWal (Long Beach State) both hit home runs for Rockford. Jackrabbits Brandon Chinea (Nova Southeastern) hit one double and two RBI during this afternoons close battle. The Rivets winning pitcher was Sultan Solebo (Lewis) and the losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Joey Haass (Delaware). 

Green Bay Booyah 2, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 0

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders were defeated by the Green Bay Booyah with a shut out score 2-0. The Booyah pulled through in the eighth and ninth innings scoring one run each inning to capture the win. Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) hit one triple and Nick Kreutzer (Arkansas Pine Bluff) had one double. The winning pitcher was Victor Santana (Shorter University) who pitched one solid inning with no runs, one hit, and one strike out. Green Bay’s Will Saxton (Florida International) came in for the save and Spiders losing pitcher was River Carbone (Arizona Christian University). 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 10, Battle Creek Bombers 0

The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Battle Creek Bombers with a dominating 10-0 final score. The Pit Spitters scored five runs in the top of the second taking over the lead over the Bombers. Jake Wilson (Bowling Green State) and Mario Camilletti (Oakland University) hit two RBI for Traverse City. The winning pitcher was Conrad Voss (Dallas) who pitched two innings giving up no runs or hits. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s James Reilly (Rockland Community College). 

Willmar Stingers 3, Rochester Honkers 10

The Rochester Honkers beat the Willmar Stingers with an ending game score 10-3. The Honkers stole the lead over the Stingers scoring six runs in the bottom of the third inning. Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one home run along with two RBI and one double for Rochester. The winning pitcher of the game was Ryan Dorney (Saint Martins University) who pitched solid five innings giving up three runs, four hits, and striking out seven. The losing pitcher was Willmar’s Christopher Peres (La Verne).  

Thunder Bay Border Cats 5, Eau Claire Express 4

The Eau Claire Express lost in a close match against the Thunder Bay Border Cats. The ending game score was 5-4. The Border Cats had a total of five runs and fifteen hits throughout the game. Nate Soriano (Houston Baptist University) had one home run along with one double and two RBI for Thunder Bay. Eau Claire’s Troy Beilsmith (Evansville) and Nick Marinconz (Cal Poly) hit one home run each. The winning pitcher was Jordan Jackson (University of Nevada-Reno) who pitched two innings giving up one runs and two hits. Thunder Bay’s Ryan Windham (Creighton University (NE)) was the saving pitcher in the last inning and the losing pitcher was Express’ Jack Brown (Minnesota-State). 

Waterloo Bucks 0, Mankato MoonDogs 5

The Waterloo Bucks were trampled by the Mankato MoonDogs with a strong final score of 5-0. The MoonDogs had a total of five runs and nine hits throughout the game. Michael Perez (UCLA) and Garrett Gilbert (Creighton) both hit home runs for Mankato. Perez also had two RBI. The winning pitcher was Shane Barringer (Bellarmine) who pitched one inning striking out two Bucks. The losing pitcher was Waterloo’s Daniel Colwell (UCLA) pitching five innings giving up five runs and two strike outs. 

La Crosse Loggers 3, Duluth Huskies 6

The Duluth Huskies beat the La Crosse Loggers with an ending score 6-3. The Huskies pushed with a solid third inning scoring three runs to take over the lead. Loggers Trey Harris (Arkansas) hit one home run along with one RBI. Duluth’s Nic Kent (Virginia) had one double and two RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Huskies Cole Milam (Southern Ill. Edsville) who pitched a solid six innings giving up one run, six hits, and striking out four. The losing pitcher was Loggers Tristan Harvin (Birmingham Southern). 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 12, Kalamazoo Growlers 9

The Wisconsin Woodchucks demolished the Kalamazoo Growlers crushing the Growlers winning streak during this afternoons game. The final score was 12-9. The Woodchucks had a strong top of the fourth scoring six runs to bridge the lead between the Growlers further and further apart. Wisconsin had a total of five home runs throughout the game by Kenny Rodriguez (Seminole State College FL), Alec Arnone (UC Riverside), Santino Miozzi (University of Florida), Cameron Swanger (University of Missouri), and Lawrence Cicileo (Adelphi University). Another great performance was by Kalamazoo’s Rudy Maxwell (Duke University) who hit one home run along with three RBI. The winning pitcher was Woodchucks Beau Nichols (Lincoln Memorial University) who pitched a solid five innings with six runs, six hits, and while striking out eight. The losing pitcher was Growlers Spencer Juergens (University of Missouri).  

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 9, Madison Mallards 5

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters beat the Madison Mallards with an ending game score 9-5. The Rafters had a strong first inning scoring six runs to start off the game with a bang. Roman Trujillo (New Mexico State) hit one double along with three RBI for Wisconsin. Madison’s Drew Benefield (Louisville) had two RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Nathan Hammerling (Lakeland) who pitched five innings with three runs, six hits, and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Mallards Trevor Marreel (Washburn University). 

Kenosha Kingfish 10, Lakeshore Chinooks 5

The Kenosha Kingfish defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks with a final score 10-5. The Kingfish had a total of ten runs and eleven hits throughout tonights game. Cole Barr (Indiana) hit one home run along with two RBI for the Chinooks. Kenosha’s Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) had two double and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Ben Stephens (Eastern Illinois University) with two runs and one hit during his three innings of work. The losing pitcher was Lakeshore’s James Hulbert (Richmond).
