The Battle Creek Bombers started off the afternoon with a bang defeating the Kokomo Jackrabbits. The final score was 8-5. The Willmar Stingers were defeated by the Rochester Honkers with an ending game score of 9-6. Honkers Kyler McMahan (Oregon State University), Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University), and Logan Denholm (University of California-Davis) all had one home run to contribute to the teams win. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 8, Green Bay Booyah 6

The Lakeshore Chinooks beat the Green Bay Booyah with an ending game score of 8-6. The Chinooks had a total of eight runs and ten hits throughout the game. Troy Black (Faulkner) hit one home run and three RBI for Lakeshore. Green Bay’s Chris Williams (Chipola College), Brady West (North Greenville), and Nick Kreutzer (Arkansas Pine Bluff) all hit one home run and one RBI each. Chinooks Jonah Nosek (Judson) was the winning pitcher of the game pitching two innings with two runs and striking out two. The saving pitcher was Luke Sommerfeld (Clemson) and the losing pitcher was Jacob Paulishak (Millersville). 

Willmar Stingers 6, Rochester Honkers 9

The Rochester Honkers defeated the Willmar Stingers ended this afternoon game with a final score 9-6. The Honkers had a total of nine runs and fifteen hits throughout the game. Kaden Fowler (Georgia) hit one home run and four RBI for the Stingers. Rochester’s Kyler McMahan (Oregon State University), Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University), and Logan Denholm (University of California-Davis) all had one home run. Peterson and McMahan also hit three RBI. The winning pitcher was Marty Tolson Jr. (Maryland-Eastern Shore) who pitched five innings giving up no runs, one hit, and striking out one. Logan Nissen (Bethany Lutheran College) swooped in for the saving pitch while the losing pitcher was Willmar’s John Bezdicek (Southwest Minnesota State). 

Kalamazoo Growlers 3, Kenosha Kingfish 4

The Kenosha Kingfish rallied during the bottom of the ninth scoring three runs to come out on top over the Kalamazoo Growlers. The ending game score was a close 4-3. Growlers Zack Gelof (University of Virginia) hit one double along with one RBI. Three member of the Kingfish Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University), Ethan Owens (Drury University), and Drew Dyer (Chicago State University) contributed one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Brian Polaski (Carthage College) who pitched one inning giving up no runs and one hit throughout the game. The losing pitcher was Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University) for the Growlers. 

Madison Mallards 4, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 2

The Madison Mallards beat the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders with a final score 4-2. The Mallards had a total of four runs and twelve hits throughout this afternoons game. Spiders Luke Robinson (Western Carolina) hit one home run and one RBI. Nicholas Figus (Illinois Wesleyan) had two RBI and one double for Madison. The winning pitcher was AJ Archambo (Oral Roberts) who pitched a solid five innings giving up one run, one hit, and one strike out. Theo Denlinger (Bradley) was the saving pitcher and the losing pitcher was Fond du Lac’s Houston Glad (Texas Wesleyan). 

Battle Creek Bombers 8, Kokomo Jackrabbits 5

The Battle Creek Bombers defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits with a final score 8-5. The Bombers had a strong four runs during the top of the seventh inning to steal the win over the Jackrabbits. Josh Sears (Freed Hardeman) hit one home run along with one double and two RBI for Battle Creek. Kokomo’s Ben Livorsi (Minnesota St-Mankato) had one home and two RBI during this afternoon games. Bombers winning pitcher was Ping-Chun Ho (Barry) who pitched two innings giving up no runs, no hits, and three strike outs. Mitchell Lee (Lamar) was the saving pitcher for Battle Creek and Mark Meyer (Akron) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 3, Rockford Rivets 1

The Traverse City Pit Spitters added another win under their belt beating the Rockford Rivets this afternoon. The final score was 3-1. The Pit Spitters came out of the gates strong scoring all three runs in the top of the first inning. Jake Wilson (Bowling Green State) hit two RBI for Traverse City. Rockford’s Mason Minzey (Texas Tech) had one double. The winning pitcher was Chase Gearing (Saginaw Valley State) with one run and striking out three for the Pit Spitters. Traverse Cities Joe Pace (University of Michigan) came in during the last innings with the save and Rivets losing pitcher was Sultan Solebo (Lewis).  

Eau Claire Express 9, Thunder Bay Border Cats 3

The Eau Claire Express won over the Thunder Bay Border Cats with an strong ending score of 9-3. The Express pulled it together in the eighth and ninth inning scoring three runs to capture the win. Cole Cabrera (Cal Poly) hit two home runs along with five RBI from Eau Claire. Thunder Bay’s Alexander Hernandez (Nova Southeastern (FL)) had two RBI. The winning pitcher was Kuster Kinlecheenie (Montevallo) with one run, two hits, and three strike outs during his five innings at the mound. Border Cats losing pitcher was Mark Anderson (Lafayette College (PA)). 

La Crosse Loggers 1, Waterloo Bucks 9

The Waterloo Bucks crushed the La Crosse Loggers with an ending score of 9-1. The Bucks scored three runs in the bottom of the first and fourth to capture the lead over the Loggers. Ryan Holgate (Arizona) had one home run along with one RBI for La Crosse. Waterloo’s winning pitcher was Jack Parkinson (Rutgers) who pitched five innings giving up no runs, four hits, and striking out four. The losing pitcher was La Crosse Tristan Harvin (Birmingham Southern). 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 2, Wisconsin Woodchucks 4 (Game #1) 

The Wisconsin Woodchucks won over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters scoring four runs in between the fourth and fifth innings to capture the win during game #1. The final score was a close 4-2. Rafters Anthony Galason (Elon University) had two RBI during tonights game. Both Angel Tiburcio (FIU) and Lawrence Cicileo (Adelphi University) hit one double and one RBI for the Woodchucks. 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4, Wisconsin Woodchucks 0 (Game #2) 

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters shut out the Wisconsin Woodchucks during game #2 winning both games of the doubleheader. The final score was a solid 4-0. Roman Trujillo (New Mexico State) hit one double and two RBI for the Rafters. The winning pitcher was Rapids Rafters Nathan Hemmerling (Lakeland) who pitched a strong six innings with no runs, three hits, and five strike outs. The losing pitcher was Woodchucks Robert Wegielnik (FL Southwest State College). 

Mankato MoonDogs 5, Bismarck Larks 2

The Mankato MoonDogs beat the Bismarck Larks with a final score 5-2. The MoonDogs had a total of five runs and five hits during tonights game. MoonDogs Garrett Gilbert (Creighton) hit one home run along with one RBI. Alex Peterson (Missouri) had two RBI from Bismarck. The winning pitcher was Trent Baker (Angelo State) who pitched a solid seven innings giving up two runs, three hits, and while striking out three. Mankato’s Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) swooped in for the save during the last two innings giving up no runs or hits. Larks Trevor McGee (Northampton CC). 

Duluth Huskies 0, St. Cloud Rox 1

The St. Cloud Rox shut out the Duluth Huskies in a close battle with a final score of 1-0. The Rox rallied during the ninth inning scoring the one and only run to capture the win. The Rox had a total of one run and five hits during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Ben Dotzler (Creighton) with no runs, three hits, and four strike outs during his eight innings of work. Justin Wick (Creighton) came in for the save in the last inning for St. Cloud. The losing pitcher was Huskies Jared Milch (Stony Brook) giving up one run and four strike outs during his eight innings at the mound.
