The Bismarck Larks and Rochester Honkers started this afternoon with the Larks coming out on top in game #1 of the teams doubleheader series. The final score of the first game was 9-4. The Rochester Honkers came together during game #2 winning over the Bismarck Larks with an ending game score of 3-2. Rochester’s Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) had an impressive game hitting one home run along with one double and one triple hit during tonights game. The Willmar Stingers shut out the Eau Claire Express during game #1. The final score was a strong 11-0. 

Bismarck Larks 9, Rochester Honkers 4 (Game #1)

The Bismarck Larks defeated the Rochester Honkers during game #1 of the teams doubleheader series. The final score was 9-4. Larks had a total of nine runs and fourteen hits throughout this afternoons game. Rochester’s Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one home run along with three RBI. Brody Tanksley (Indiana University-Southeast) received one double and two RBI for the Larks. The winning pitcher was Dominic Arias (Chicago State) who pitched two innings who gave up no runs and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Honkers Marty Tolson Jr. (Maryland- Eastern Shore). 

Bismarck Larks 2, Rochester Honkers 3 (Game #2)

The Rochester Honkers beat the Bismarck Larks splitting their doubleheader series game. The final score was a nailbitting 3-2. Rochester’s Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one home run along with one double and one triple hit during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Ryan Dorney (Saint Martins University) who pitched six innings with two runs and six strike outs. Honkers Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) was the saving pitcher while the losing pitcher was Larks Josh Gray (LSU-Alexandria). 

Willmar Stingers 11, Eau Claire Express 0 (Game #1)

The Willmar Stingers blew out and shut down the Eau Claire Express with an ending game score of 11-0. The Stingers came together during the seventh through ninth innings scoring all eleven runs for the win. Kaden Fowler (Georgia) hit one home run and five RBI for Willmar. Another strong performance was by Branden Boissiere (Arizona) had one double and one RBI during this afternoons game. The winning pitcher was Garret Rukes (Alabama) who gave up no runs, five hits, and three strike outs during his seven innings of work. The losing pitcher was Eau Claire’s Craig Colen (Cal Poly) who also pitched seven innings striking out seven. 

Willmar Stingers 7, Eau Claire Express 3 (Game #2)

The Willmar Stingers dominated the Eau Claire Express with another impressive final score of 7-3. The Stingers crushed the top of the fourth inning scoring four runs to steal the lead from the Express. Justin King (Alabama) hit two home runs along with two RBI for Willmar. The Express’ Nick Marinconz (Cal Poly) received one double and two RBI during game #2. Luke DeGrammont (Concordia- St. Paul) was the games winning pitcher of the night who pitched five innings with one run and four hits. The losing pitcher was Eau Claire’s Tim Ewald (Dallas Baptist). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 6, Mankato MoonDogs 5

The Rockford Rivets lost against the Thunder Bay Border Cats with an ending game score of 6-5. The Border Cats had a total of six runs and ten hits throughout the game. Noah Reed (Lincoln Trail College) scored two RBI and one double for Thunder Bay. Another solid performance was by Anthony Galati (Radford University (VA)) who had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Border Cats Jordan Jackson (University of Nevada-Reno) with three runs and striking out three during his two innings of work. The losing pitcher was Mankato’s Jack Pilcher (Butler). 

La Crosse Loggers 2, Duluth Huskies 1

The La Crosse Loggers battled for the win over the Duluth Huskies with a close final score of 2-1. The Loggers rallied in the ninth innings scoring the final and winning run against the Huskies. Matt Hogan (Vanderbilt) hit one double and one RBI from Duluth. La Crosse’s Hunter Watson (Texas AM) and Jack Filby (UCLA) received one RBI. Jared Freilich (Penn State) was the winning pitcher of the game with no runs, no hits, and three strike outs during his two innings of work. The losing pitcher was Duluth’s Dan Hansen (St. Scholastica). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 5, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders pushed through and won against the Lakeshore Chinooks with a close battle and final score of 6-5. The Spiders had an impressive eighth inning scoring three runs to defeat the Chinooks. Daryl Myers (Benedictine College (KS)) had one triple and three RBI for Lakeshore. Fond du Lac’s Otto Grimm (Minnesota) hit a double along with two RBI during the game. The winning pitcher was Randall Perrin (South Suburban College) who pitched one innings with one run and two strike outs. The saving pitcher was Spiders Kyle Hall (Indiana Wesleyan) while the losing pitcher was Brendan McGuigan (Richmond). 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 13, Kenosha Kingfish 4

The Kokomo Jackrabbits dominated the Kenosha Kingfish with a strong final score of 13-4. The Kingfish started off the game with a solid three runs but it was not enough to defeat the Jackrabbits. Kokomo’s Austin Elder (St. Mary (CA)) hit one home run along with three RBI. Mitchell Buban (Wisconsin-Milwaukee) and Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) both hit one home run and one RBI from the Kingfish. The winning pitcher was Aaron Husson (Central Michigan) who pitched six innings with four runs and six strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kenosha’s Tanner Fallon (Loras College).  

Kalamazoo Growlers 0, Traverse City Pit Spitters 6

The Kalamazoo Growlers were shut out by the Traverse City Pit Spitters with a solid final score of 6-0. The Pit Spitters had consistent fifth and sixth inning scoring two runs in each inning. Traverse Cities Andrew Morrow (Michigan State) had one triple and two RBI during todays game. Another strong play was by Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) hit a double along with one RBI. The winning pitcher was by Pat Hohlfeld (Jefferson University) with no runs and six strike outs during his six innings at the mound. The losing pitcher was Growlers Christian Johnson (Gustavus Adolphus College). 

Battle Creek Bombers 9, Rockford Rivets 8

The Battle Creek Bombers defeated the Rockford Rivets with a close battle and ending game score of 9-8. The Rivets attempted to beat the Bombers scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning but it was not enough to steal the lead over the Bombers. Battle Creek’s Caleb Balgaard (Iowa Western) and Jorge Gutierrez (Lamar) both hit one double and two RBI. Rockford’s Anthony Fumagalli (Purdue Northwest) received three RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Sawyer Allen (Hillsdale College) who had three runs and striking out six during his five innings at the mound. The saving pitcher was Bombers Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma) while the losing pitcher was Cory Wright (Valdosta State). 

Green Bay Booyah 2, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4

The Green Bay Booayh lost over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score of 4-2. The Rafters had a total of four runs and four hits. Wisconsin’s Noah Thigpen (UT-Martin) had one double and two RBI throughout tonights game. Another solid performance was by Rapids Rafters Jake Dunham (Northern Illinois) with one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Matt Osterberg (St. Cloud State) who gave up two runs and six strike outs during his six innings at the mound. The saving pitcher was Brayden Bonner (Dixie State) pitching the last innings with no runs or hits. The losing pitcher was Booyah Victor Santana (Shorter University). 

Waterloo Bucks 2, St. Cloud Rox 1

The Waterloo Bucks beat the St. Cloud Rox with a close final score of 2-1. The Bucks had a total of two runs and six hits throughout tonights game. St. Cloud’s Jordan Barth (Augustana University) hit one home run along with one RBI. The winning pitcher was Rox Brandon Vial (Austin Peay) who pitched six innings with one run and three strike outs. The saving pitcher was Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State) who had six strike outs. The losing pitcher Waterloo’s Garett Delano (Brown University) who gave up one run and four strike outs during his six inning of work. 

Madison Mallards 4, Wisconsin Woodchucks 3

The Madison Mallards rallied and beat the Wisconsin Woodchucks with an ending game score of 4-3. The Mallards pulled through during the last and final inning scoring three runs to capture the win over the Woodchucks. Madison’s E.J. Ranel (Lenoir-Rhyne) with one home run along with four RBI during tonights battle. Wisconsin’s Byron Murray (Lynn University) hit one home run and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Leon Davidson (NC AT) who pitched one inning with no runs, no hits, and three strike outs. The saving pitcher was Mallards Theo Denlinger (Bradley) while the losing pitcher was Woodchucks Micheal Novak (Spring Hill College) both pitching one inning.
