The Rockford Rivets and Kalamazoo Growlers started off tonight with a solid win for the Rivets. The final score was 4-1. An impressive performance was by Alex Steinbach (Illinois) who hit one home run and two RBI during tonights game. The Wisconsin Woodchucks blew out the Green Bay Booyah with an ending score of 8-0. Adam Frank (FDU) had one home run, one triple, and three RBI to add to the win. The Mankato MoonDogs rallied against the Rochester Honkers for the win ending the game with a final score of 11-4. An impressive performance was by Adan Fernandez (Nova Southeastern University) who received two home runs and five RBI for the MoonDogs.

Eau Claire Express 7, Duluth Huskies 12

The Duluth Huskies dominated the Eau Claire Express continuing their top ranking in the Northwoods League. The final score was a strong 12-7. Eau Claire’s Brandon Dieter (Stanford) received one double and four RBI during tonights game. Huskies Collin Hopkins (Western Kentucky) hit four RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Ricky Reynoso (University of the Pacific) who gave up two runs and five strike outs during his five innings of work. The saving pitcher was Beau Wills (Concordia Wisconsin) while the losing pitcher was Express’ Zach Gustafson (Minnesota-State). 

Lakeshore Chinooks 8, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 2

The Lakeshore Chinooks dominated the ninth inning scoring six runs to beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters during tonights game. The ending game score was a solid 8-2. Troy Black (Faulkner) hit one home run and one RBI for Lakeshore. Wisconsin’s Aidan Huggins (Illinois State) received one home run and one RBI. Luke Sommerfeld (Clemson) was the winning pitcher who gave up no runs, no hits, and two strike outs. The losing pitcher was Rafters Brayden Bonner (Dixie State). 

Willmar Stingers 8, St. Cloud Rox 2

The Willmar Stingers crushed the St. Cloud Rox with a final score of 8-2. The Stingers had a total of eight runs and ten hits throughout tonights game. Brennan McKenzie (Cal Poly Pamona) hit one home run, four RBI, and one double for Willmar. The winning pitcher was Luke DeGrammont (Concordia- St. Paul) with no runs, one hit, and two strike outs during his two innings at the mound. The losing pitcher was St. Cloud’s RJ Martinez (Minot State) who pitched seven innings with five strike outs. 

Rockford Rivets 4, Kalamazoo Growlers 1

The Rockford Rivets defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers with a final score of 4-1. The Rivets had a total of four runs and six hits throughout tonights game. Alex Steinbach (Illinois) and Kirk Liebert (Wabash Valley) hit one home run each for Rockford. Steinbach also received two RBI. The winning pitcher was Jarret Olson (Michigan State) who pitched seven innings giving up one run, three hits, and seven strike outs. Adrian Santiago (Webster) was the saving pitcher while the Growlers Adam Wheaton (Trine University) was the losing pitcher. 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 8, Green Bay Booyah 0

The Wisconsin Woodchucks shut out the Green Bay Booayh with a strong ending game score of 8-0. The Woodchucks scored and hit a total of eight runs and thirteen hits throughout tonights game. Adam Frank (FDU) and Cameron Swanger (University of Missouri) hit one home run from Wisconsin. Frank also received one triple and three RBI. Woodchucks winning pitcher was Greyson Fletcher (FIU) with no runs, four hits, and two strike outs during his five innings at the mound. The losing pitcher was Green Bay’s Tommy Miller (Siena College).  

Traverse City Pit Spitters 15, Kenosha Kingfish 2

The Traverse City Pit Spitters demolished the Kenosha Kingfish with an impressive final score of 15-2. The Pit Spitters had a total of fifteen runs and twenty-one hits throughout the game. Andrew Morrow (Michigan State) hit one home run, one triple, and one RBI from Traverse City. Another strong performance was by the Spitters Christian Faust (Grand Valley State) who received one triple and three RBI. Kenosha’s Zachary Nogalski (Wisconsin-Milwaukee) had one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Andrew Hoffman (Oakland University) who pitched five innings with two runs and striking out five. The losing pitcher was Kingfish’s Sam Marhefke (Loras College). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6, Kokomo Jackrabbits 3

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders dominated the Kokomo Jackrabbits with a solid final score of 6-3. The Spiders came together during the eighth and ninth innings scoring three runs to defeat the Jackrabbits. Fond du Lac’s Aaron Anderson (Flagler) with one double and three RBI during tonights game. Kokomo’s Logan Jarvis (Belmont) received one RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Kyle Hall (Indiana Wesleyan) who pitched one innings with two runs and one strike out for the Spiders. The saving pitcher was Max Cioffi (Mississippi) while the losing pitcher was Ryan Boyer (Pitt-Bradford).  

Mankato MoonDogs 11, Rochester Honkers 4

The Mankato MoonDogs demolished the Rochester Honkers with an incredible final score of 11-4. The MoonDogs hit five runs during the top of the third inning beginning the lead over the Honkers. A strong performance was Henry George (University of Minnesota Duluth) from Rochester who hit one triple and three RBI. Mankato’s Cuba Bess (Grand Canyon) and Dayton Dooney (Arizona) both scored one home run during tonights game. Adan Fernandez (Nova Southeastern University) received two home runs and five RBI for the MoonDogs. The winning pitcher was Josh Ramirez (Washburn) who pitched a solid seven innings with four runs and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Rochester’s Dwayne Marshall (Maryland- Eastern Shore).  

Madison Mallards 5, Battle Creek Bombers 2

The Madison Mallards beat the Battle Creek Bombers with an ending game score of 5-2. The Mallards scored a consistent number of runs every other inning to dominate the Bombers. Bombers Trace Peterson (Lake Eerie College) received one double along with two RBI. E.J. Ranel (Lenoir-Rhyne) hit one RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Eliot Turnquist (Madison College) who pitched a solid six innings with no runs, five hits, and striking out ten. The saving pitcher was Mallards Theo Denlinger (Bradley) with no runs and no hits during the last inning of the game. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Keith Carpenter (Maryland Eastern Shore). 

Waterloo Bucks 8, Thunder Bay Border Cats 4

The Waterloo Bucks crushed the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a solid final score of 8-4. The Bucks had a strong seventh inning scoring five runs to capture the lead over the Border Cats. Morgan Hostetler (Corban) hit one home run along with one RBI for Waterloo. Thunder Bay’s Ryne Edmondson (Houston Baptist University) scored one double and three RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Luke Mattson (UC-San Diego) who pitched a solid five innings of work with no runs and five strike outs. The losing pitcher was Cats Brendan Cindric (Pepperdine University (CA). 

La Crosse Loggers 4, Bismarck Larks 5

The Bismarck Larks won over the La Crosse Loggers with a close battle with a final score of 5-4. The Larks pulled through during the bottom of the ninth innings to defeat the Loggers. La Crosse’s Cody Jefferis (San Diego) who had one double and one RBI. Brian Leonhardt (San Diego State) who received three RBI and his teammate AJ DiFillipo (Columbia) hit one triple. The winning pitcher was Dominic Arias (Chicago State) who pitched two innings with no runs, no hits, and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Loggers Jared Freilich (Penn State).
