The Bismarck Bull Moose scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth, then were able to hold off a late rally from the Bismarck Larks on Wednesday night to win their second game of the season, 8-6. The Larks drop to 4-2 on the season and are on a two-game losing streak.

Liam Critchett (Loyola Marymount) led the Bull Moose offense, going 2-3 at the plate with two RBI and one run scored. He had a hand in the six-run fourth, as he singled to right field to allow Ben Teel (University of Montevallo) to score the first run of the inning. Teel also had a solid night at the plate, going 1-4 with a double and two RBI. Kevin Wiseman (Wagner) picked up his first win of the season, coming on in relief and throwing one and one-third of an inning, allowing no hits and no runs while recording two strikeouts. Jake Snyder (Creighton) pitched the ninth, and after finding himself in some trouble induced a game-ending double play to pick up the save.

It was a tough night for the Larks offense, as Noah Fisher (Northern Kentucky) was the lone player to record multiple hits, as he went 2-3 with both of his hits being doubles and two RBI while scoring twice himself. Griffin Schneider (Wagner) was 1-3 on the night with two runs scored.  Seth Brewer (Northern State) had a good outing on the mound, throwing four and one-third of an inning, allowing one earned run on three hits while recording seven strikeouts.

All three teams in the Bismarck pod will be off Thursday before the Larks are back in action on Friday night when they face the Mandan Flickertails. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
