Pablo Arevalo (Southern Illinois) made his 2020 debut on Thursday night for the Battle Creek Bombers, and turned in a gem to pick up the win.
Arevalo got the start, and lasted five innings, allowing one run on four hits while recording a team-high five strikeouts. He faced 23 batters, throwing 17 first pitch strikes. His season ERA sits at 1.80, with a WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) of 1.00.
