Nathan Hemmerling (Lakeland University) threw four shutout innings on Wednesday night to help the Rafters to a win over the Woodchucks.
Hemmerling allowed two hits on Wednesday, but recorded a season-high six strikeouts as the Rafters took home a 9-2 victory. This was Hemmerling’s second appearance of the season. He has thrown six and one-third of a inning, allowing three earned runs and recording 10 strikeouts. His season ERA is 4.26 while his WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) is 1.11.
