The Wisconsin Woodchucks needed 10 innings on Sunday afternoon, but they were able to walk-off the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to pick up the win. They weren’t the only game to go extras, as the Willmar Stingers stole a win from the Waterloo Bucks in 10 innings.

Bismarck Larks 7 Bismarck Bull Moose 5
Tim Simoes (US Military Academy) hit a pair of home runs on Sunday afternoon as the Larks picked up a 7-5 win over the Bull Moose. Simoes finished the game 2-3, with four RBI and two runs scored. He was the only Lark who had multiple hits or RBI. HARRIS was 1-4, with a double and a run scored, while Brody Tanksley (Indiana University Southeast) also was 1-4 with a double. Yassir Kahook (Toledo) picked up the win, throwing six innings, allowing five runs on five hits and recording a pair of strikeouts. Colby Childs (Drury) was credited with the save, as he threw one scoreless inning to shut it down.

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3 Green Bay Booyah 0
The Rafters scored three runs early, then held off the Booyah to secure the win. Richie Schiekofer (Rutgers) was the offensive leader for the Rafters, going 2-4 at the plate with a double, a run scored and two RBI. Hank Zeisler (Chapman) was also 2-4 on the game. The strength for the Rafters was their pitching, as they only used two pitchers on the afternoon. Glenn Albanese (Louisville) got the start, throwing five scoreless innings, racking up seven strikeouts. He gave way to Ryan Mitschele (Western Carolina), who threw the final four innings, allowing just one hit and recording five strikeouts of his own.

Fond du Lack Dock Spiders 9 La Crosse Loggers 7
The Dock Spiders led 9-0 entering the seventh inning, but had to fend off a furious rally to top the Loggers on Sunday. La Crosse scored three runs in the seventh and added four in the top of the ninth, but were unable to fully close the gap. John Rhodes (Kentucky) had a solid day at the plate for Fond du Lac, going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Tim Elko (Mississippi) was 2-2 on the day with a run scored while Andrew Bullock (Charleston Southern) was 1-5 with a pair of RBI. Ryan Bergert (West Virginia) had a clean start on the mound for the Dock Spiders, throwing six full innings, allowing no runs on two hits with four strikeouts to pick up the win.

Wisconsin Woodchucks 8 Rockford Rivets 7 (10 innings)
It took a little longer than the Woodchucks wanted, but they were eventually able to send the local fans home happy, as they walked off the Rockford Rivets in 10 innings. Myles AUstin (Alabama) was 1-4 at the plate for the Woodchucks, but the one hit was a two-run home run in the bottom of the second inning that stretched the Woodchucks lead to 4-0. Dathon McGrath (West Texas A&M) picked up the win for the Woodchucks, throwing one scoreless inning with one strikeout.

Willmar Stingers 2 Waterloo Bucks 1 (10 innings)
The Stingers scored a run in the top of the 10th inning to slip past the Waterloo Bucks Sunday afternoon. The Stingers were trailing 1-0 with two outs in the eighth when Kyle Manzardo (Washington State) jacked a solo home run over the right field fence. They would take the lead in the 10th when Jaxon Hallmark (Nebraska) hit a sacrifice fly, allowing Harrison Schnurbusch (Central Missouri) to score the go-ahead run. Jonathan Brand (Miami University Ohio) would throw record two outs in the bottom of the inning before giving way to Tanner Brown (Augustana), who despite giving up a hit got a game-ending strikeout. Brand was credited with the win after throwing three and two-third innings, allowing no runs and recording six strikeouts.

Michigan Pod
Kalamazoo Growlers 5 Battle Creek Bombers 0
The Growlers had no problems against the Bombers on Sunday night as they moved to within 1.5 games of Battle Creek in the Michigan South standings. Luke Stephenson (Xavier) led the way for the Kalamazoo offense, going 2-4 with a double and two RBI. Blake Dunn (Western Michigan) also finished 2-4, with a run scored and two RBI. The Kalamazoo pitching staff did the heavy lifting, as they limited the Bombers offense to just three hits. Luke Scoles (Central Michigan) picked up his second win of the season, throwing two innings with no hits and a team-high four strikeouts.
