Gavin Gorrell (Boise State) had his best outing of the season on Tuesday night, as he threw two innings to help the Stingers to a 7-4 win over the Rochester Honkers.
Gorrell came on in relief for the Stingers, and threw two scoreless innings, with a season-high five strikeouts to pick up the win. This was the fourth appearance of the season for Gorrell, who has allowed just one earned run in nine innings of work, with seven strikeouts and a 1.00 ERA.
