The Mandan Flickertails turned their offense on late, as they slipped past the Bull Moose 5-0. They were in a position to win thanks to John Wilson (Old Dominion), who turned in a quality start to pick up his first win of the season.
Wilson got the start for Mandan, and threw six scoreless innings, scattering three hits and recording a season-high eight strikeouts. He has thrown 15 innings this season, allowing 11 hits and striking out 13 batters while still not allowing a run.
