The Mankato MoonDogs have their first win streak of the season after a thrilling 6-5 win over the Willmar Stingers where they got a walk-off single to win their second game in a row. In the Michigan pod, the Kalamazoo Growlers made history, as they threw a no-hitter against the Battle Creek Bombers in the second game of a doubleheader.

The Bombers scored three runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back, as they beat the Growlers in the first game of a doubleheader. T.J. McKenzie (Vanderbilt) went deep for the Bombers, while Joseph Mason (Mount Olive) was 2-2 with a double and two runs scored. Ryan Vogt (Southeast Missouri State) picked up the win, throwing four innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits with one strikeout. Evan Ingram (Hendrix College) picked up his third save of the season after throwing one perfect inning.

The Growlers threw a five-inning no-hitter against the Bombers Monday night to split the doubleheader. Adam Wheaton (Trine University) was the only pitcher the Growlers needed, as he threw five full innings, with six strikeouts. Will Morrison (Western Michigan) was 1-2 for Kalamazoo, with a two-RBI double. Khale Showers (Northwood University) was 1-2, with a run scored and an RBI.

Traverse City Pit Spitters 7 Great Lakes Resorters 0
After playing six scoreless innings, the Pit Spitters scored seven runs in the closing innings to slide to a 7-0 win over the Resorters. Spencer Schwellenbach (Nebraska) was 2-3 for Traverse City, with a double and two RBI. Christian Faust (Grand Valley State) was 2-5, with a pair of RBI. Chad Patrick (Purdue Northwest) got the start for the Pit Spitters and threw three scoreless innings, with six strikeouts. Jay Ward Jr. (Texas-San Antonio) picked up the win after throwing one perfect inning.

Green Bay Booyah 3 Rockford Rivets 2
The Booyah scored two runs in the ninth, then held off a Rivets comeback to top Rockford Monday night. Matt McDonald (Lamar University) was the only member of the Booyah offense to record multiple hits, as he was 2-4 at the plate. Andy Blake (Columbia) was 1-4, with the team’s only RBI. Harrison Cook (Kentucky) got the start for Green Bay and threw five and two-third innings, allowing one run on one hit while striking out four batters. Joe Taylor (Nicholls State) picked up the win after throwing two innings, allowing a run on two hits and recording two strikeouts.

It was all Rafters on Monday night, as they easily beat the Loggers thanks to a solid all-around team performance, as eight of the nine Rafters starters scored runs. Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV) was 2-5, with two runs scored and an RBI. Chris Mcelvain (Vanderbilt) got his second win of the season for Wisconsin Rapids, throwing five innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out seven batters

The Dock Spiders picked up the win Monday night thanks in part to five errors from the Woodchucks. Ryan Ritter (Kentucky) was 2-2 at the dish for Fond du Lac, with a double and an RBI. Sam Novitske (Oregon) was 2-3 while Victor Scott II (West Virginia) was 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Zack Lee (Kentucky) picked up the win for Fond du Lac, as he threw five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and recording four strikeouts.

North Dakota Pod
Mandan Flickertails 6 Bismarck Bull Moose 1
The Flickertails turned on the offense in extras, as they scored five times in the top of the 10th to claim a win over the Bull Moose, who have now lost five in a row, and are 13 games behind first place in the North Dakota Pod standings. Jackson Loftin (Sam Houston State) had the big bat for Mandan, going 2-4, with a double and a team-high three RBI. Jared Wegner (Creighton) was 1-5 at the plate, with a run scored and two RBI. The Flickertails had solid pitching performances all around, led by Ben Schoneman Iv (Colorado School of Mines), who threw five shutout innings, allowing four runs and recording four strikeouts. Lucas Reid (Nova Southeastern) was credited with the win, throwing one shutout inning with a hit and a strikeout.

St. Cloud Rox 5 Waterloo Bucks 4
The Rox needed to rally late, but they were able to send the game into extras, where after trading runs with the Bucks in the 10th, they scored one in the top of the 11th and were able to hold off the Bucks to steal a road win. Jordan Barth (Augustana) drove in three runs for St. Cloud on just one hit, while Garett Delano (Mercer) was 1-4 with a double. Kodie Kolden (Washington State) was 1-3 with a walk and two runs scored. R.J. Martinez (Minot State) was credited with the win for the Rox, throwing two and two-third innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out two batters.

The MoonDogs have their first win streak of the 2020 season after they walked-off the Stingers 6-5 in 11 innings Monday night. HULL was the hero for Mankato, as he singled into center field to score Danny Borgstrom (Evansville), who had led off the inning with a single. There were multiple MoonDogs who recorded multiple hits, including Zach Kokoska (Kansas State) (2-5), Zach Giles (Central Michigan) (2-3), Max Wright (Indiana State) (2-4, 2 runs scored) and Borgstrom (2-4). Deylen Miley (Bellarmine) got the start on the hill for Mankato and threw five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts. Jakob Meyer (Evansville) picked up his first win of the season, throwing two and one-third of an inning, allowing two runs on two hits.
