Bryce Konitzer (Oakland University) had a standout performance on Thursday, picking up his first win of the season in a 6-0 Bobbers win in the first game of a doubleheader against the Kenosha Kingfish.

Konitzer got the start for the Bobbers and threw seven innings, allowing no runs on five hits with a season-high 10 strikeouts. The outing set new season highs in innings pitched and strikeouts. In 13.2 innings pitched this season, he has allowed just two earned runs, giving him an ERA of 1.32. He is averaging nearly a strikeout per inning pitched.
