The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters scored 13 runs on Friday night to hand the Rockford Rivets their eighth consecutive loss, while the Kenosha Kingfish won an extra-innings shootout over the K-Town Bobbers to extend their lead in the Kenosha Series.

Battle Creek Bombers 2 Kalamazoo Mac Daddies 1
The Bombers scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to beat the Mac Daddies in the first of two games on Friday night. Jimmy Wressel (Concordia University) was 1-2 for the Bombers, with two RBI. He was one of just two Bombers to record hits, with ALex Walton (Concordia University) being the other. Timothy Pomaville (Concordia University) got the start for Battle Creek and threw three innings, allowing a run on two hits with two strikeouts. The win was credited to Tyler Carper (Minnesota-Morris) who threw two perfect innings to close things out.

Kalamazoo Mac Daddies 5 Battle Creek Bombers 3
The Mac Daddies rallied late, scoring five runs in the final two innings to steal a 5-3 win from the Bombers to split the doubleheader. Jake Martin (College of the Desert) was 2-3 for Kalamazoo, with three runs batted in. Anthony Calarco (Northwestern) was 2-3, with a double while Alex Ludwick (Baldwin Wallace) went 1-4 with a pair of RBI. Justin Mansager (Kalamazoo Valley CC) got the win after throwing three innings, allowing a run on two hits. Parker Murdie (Grand Valley State) threw the final two innings to lock down the game.

Traverse City Pit Spitters 3 Great Lakes Resorters 1
The Pit Spitters jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and held off the Resorters to win ther fourth consecutive game over the Resorters. Traverse City only managed four hits, coming from Trey Yunger (Wofford), Chris Monroe (University of Illinois Springfield), Carson Eby (Davenport University) and Logan Hylek (Davenport University), with Eby and Brant Kym (Hope College) recording runs batted in. Chad Patrick (Purdue Northwest) threw eight strong innings, allowing one run on two hits with 11 strikeouts to earn the win, while Evan Gates (North Carolina A&T State University) threw a scoreless ninth to pick up his third save of the season.

Kenosha Kingfish 10 K-Town Bobbers 8
The Kingfish and Bobbers battled all night Friday, eventually making it to the 10th inning, where the Kingfish put up five runs to take a 10-5 lead, then held off a bottom of the inning charge from the Bobbers to take the win. Justin Janas (Illinois) had a great night at the plate for Kenosha, going 2-4 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored. George Rosales (Farleigh Dickinson University) and McKay Barney (BYU) were both 2-5, with one run batted in each. Nick Meyer (Otterbein University) threw two scoreless relief innings to pick up the win, recording a team-high four strikeouts in the process.

La Crosse Loggers 5 Green Bay Booyah 3
The Loggers needed a late rally, but they succeeded, topping things off by scoring a pair of runs in the top of the ninth to beat the Booyah 5-3. Kobe Kato (Arizona) was 2-5 for the Loggers, with a run scored and two runs batted in. Ben Snapp (Eastern Illinois) was 2-4, with a double, two RBI and a run scored. Snapp ended up being the hero, as he hit a one-out double in the ninth to score the winning run, though he was thrown out at third base for the second out. Travis Weston (Boise State) threw six innings, allowing three runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts. Jack Mizgalski (UW-La Crosse) got the win, throwing three scoreless innings, striking out four batters.

The Rivets fell for the eighth game in a row on Friday, this time losing 13-4 to the Rafters. Kyle Teel (Virginia) was 2-4, with a run scored and four RBI to lead the Rafters offense, while Jacob Hinderleider (Davidson College) was 2-4 with three RBI. Hank Zeisler (Chapman University) drove in a pair of runs on two hits, while Andy Garriola (Old Dominion) had three hits, one of which was a double, along with an RBI. Nathan Hemmerling (Lakeland University) threw five scoreless innings to pick up the win, while Donovan Brandi (UW-Whitewater) finished things off with a perfect ninth inning, striking out a pair of batters.

Wisconsin Woodchucks 6 Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4
The Woodchucks fell behind early on Friday, but strung some runs together to take the lead and eventually the win over the Dock Spiders. Jeissy De La Cruz (Broward College) was 3-5 for the Woodchucks with an RBI while Adrian Mella (Hillsborough CC) went 1-5 with a team-leading two runs batted in. In total, four Woodchucks recorded multiple hits. Nick Marshall (Indian Hills CC) threw six innings for Wisconsin, allowing three runs on seven hits while recording five strikeouts, improving to 2-3 on the season. Jd Schultz (Wisconsin_Stevens Point) threw one inning, while Nathan Mirochnick (Rhodes College) threw two scoreless innings to claim his first save of the season.

North Dakota Pod
Bismarck Bull Moose 4 Bismarck Larks 2
The Bull Moose scored two runs in the top of the 10th to top the Larks 4-2 on Friday night. Quentin Evers (University of Mary) went 3-5 for the Bull Moose, with a double, a triple and an RBI while Luke Shekeryk (University of Jamestown) was 2-4 with a run scored. Jacob Wesselmann (Briar Cliff University) got the start for the Bull Moose and threw seven strong innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits with 11 strikeouts. Justin Goldstein (Orange Coast College) came on and threw three innings, allowing one run on a hit with five strikeouts to pick up his first win of the season.

Mankato MoonDogs 9 Willmar Stingers 7
The MoonDogs scored eight runs in the sixth, then wiggled their way out of a ninth-inning jam to pick up a win over the Stingers. Adam LaRock (UW-Milwaukee) was 2-3 for Mankato, with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Ethan Mocchi (Gustavus Adolphus) was 2-5, with a run scored and two RBI while Jack Walteich (Minnesota State University Mankato) went 1-5, with a double and two runs batted in. Deylen Miley (Bellarmine) threw five innings, allowing four runs on eight hits with eight strikeouts to improve to 2-3 on the season.

Waterloo Bucks 5 Rochester Honkers 3
Blake Doremus (Cal State Northridge) was at the plate in the top of the eighth for Waterloo when the game was suspended due to inclement weather. They were unable to resume play, giving the Bucks a rain-shortened win over the Honkers. Charley Hesse (NDSU) was 1-2 for the Bucks, with a home run, a sacrifice fly and three runs batted in. In total, seven of the nine Waterloo batters recorded hits, with nobody having more than one. Will Christopherson (Michigan State) threw two scoreless innings after coming on in relief, striking out five batters to improve to 3-0 on the season. Jake Hilmer (Upper Iowa) threw two scoreless innings to pick up the save, recording three strikeouts.
