Tommy Troy (Stanford) had a breakout game on Saturday, as the Traverse City Pit Spitters handily defeated the Great Lakes Resorters 11-2.
Troy, who was making just his sixth appearance of the season, was 3-6 at the plate, with a triple, a run scored and four runs batted in. This was already his second multi-hit game of the season, and also is the second multi-RBI game this season. He is batting .292, with seven hits and seven RBI, with one triple in 2020.
