Kokomo Jackrabbits 12 Battle Creek Bombers 3

Martin Vincelli-Simard (Sacramento State) doubled twice, recorded two RBI, and scored a run for the Kokomo Jackrabbits in their 12-3 victory over the Battle Creek Bombers. Kyle Wade (Purdue) pitched five innings and picked up the win for the Jackrabbits. He allowed only three hits and struck out five Bombers. Miguel Larreal (Hillsborough Community College) and Stephen Krause (Miami University Ohio) each had two hits for Battle Creek. 

 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 11 Rockford Rivets 1

Eight of the nine Traverse City Pit Spitters’ hitters recorded at least one RBI as the Pit Spitters defeated the Rockford Rivets 11-1. Trey Truitt III (Northern Carolina State University) hit two triples, recorded three RBI, and scored three of the Pit Spitters’ runs. The Rivets only recorded three hits on the night. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish 3 Kalamazoo Growlers 1

Dante Guarascio (Carthage College) threw five shutout innings in the Kenosha Kingfish’s 3-1 win over the Kalamazoo Growlers. Gurascio only allowed six hits and he struck out eight Growlers. Stephen Cullen (Southeastern University) recorded three hits, including a triple for the Growlers. 

 

Lakeshore Chinooks 4 Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 3

Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky University) homered and walked in the Lakeshore Chinooks’ 4-3 victory against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. Austin Edwards (Western Illinois University) added two hits, including a triple. Andrew Kim (University of Illinois) walked twice, stole a base, and scored one of the Dock Spiders’ runs. 

 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 7 Green Bay Booyah 2

Nathan Hemmerling (Lakeland University) held the Green Bay Booyah to just one run on four hits in six innings of work as the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters defeated the Green Bay Booyah 7-2. Hemmerling struck out seven Booyah and only issued one walk. Three Booyah players each recorded two hits. 

 

Waterloo Bucks 14 Rochester Honkers 8

Gabe Baldovino (Santa Barbara City College) recorded two hits, walked twice, and scored two runs as the Waterloo Bucks won 14-8 over the Rochester Honkers. Aaron Treloar (Glendale College) hit a home run, brought in three runs, and scored twice. 

 

Mankato MoonDogs 3 St. Cloud Rox 1

Cole Andavolgyi’s (Grand Canyon) two-run home run in the third inning scored two of the Mankato MoonDogs’ three runs in their 3-1 victory against the St. Cloud Rox. Matthew Higgins (Bellarmine University) recorded one RBI. Tyson Fisher’s (Dixie State University) sacrifice fly in the seventh inning scored the Rox’s only run. 

 

La Crosse Loggers 5 Minnesota Mud Puppies 4 

Two La Crosse Loggers players (Ronald Sweeney III, University of Minnesota and Kyle Casper, University of Arizona) hit home runs to push the Loggers past the Minnesota Mud Puppies 5-4. Payton Eeles (Cedarville University) collected two hits, a walk, and two stolen bases. Jakob Kouneski (North Iowa Area Community College) recorded three hits, including a double and a home run, for the MudPuppies. 

 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 5 Madison Mallards 3

Brandon Trammell (Tusculum College) was the hero of the night in the Wisconsin Woodchucks 5-3 walk-off against the Madison Mallards. Trammel’s two-run home run in the bottom of the night secured the win for the Woodchucks. He recorded two hits and walked twice. Kyle Bork (University of Minnesota) collected three hits, including two doubles, for the Mallards. 

 

Willmar Stingers 9 Eau Claire Express 1 

Daniel Sayre (Sac City) collected three hits, including a home run, as the Willmar Stingers defeated the Eau Claire Express 9-1. Four other Stingers also scored at least one run. Alejandro Macario (Nova Southeastern University) recorded three hits and scored the Express’s lone run. 

 

Bismarck Larks 3 Duluth Huskies 2 – 10 innings 

The Bismarck Larks prevailed 3-2 over the Duluth Huskies in a 10-inning affair. Larks starter Jacob Wesselmann (Briar Cliff University) held the Huskies to three hits and two runs in five innings. He also recorded seven strikeouts and just one walk. Ryan McDonald (South Dakota State University) brought in both of the Huskies’ runs.
