Kenosha Kingfish 7 Battle Creek Bombers 4 — 7 innings

Carmine Lane (University of South Florida) hit two home runs in the Kenosha Kingfish’s 7-4 win over the Battle Creek Bombers. Vince Bianchina (Northwestern University) walked, singled twice, and brought in two runs. Aaron Beck (Indiana State University) and Ed Johnson (Tennessee Tech University) each walked, singled, and brought in two runs for Battle Creek. 

 

Battle Creek Bombers 5 Kenosha Kingfish 3 — 7 innings  

Jack Merrifield (Louisiana State University) hit a grand slam in the fourth inning as the Battle Creek Bombers won 5-3 against the Kenosha Kingfish. Heath Hood (Louisiana-Lafayette) doubled and brought in a run. Kirk Liebert (University of Kentucky) walked, singled twice, and brought in a run for Kenosha. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish @ Battle Creek Bombers — Postponed 

This game will be made up as part of a double header on July 17 at 4:30pm CT. The Kingfish will be the home team in Game 1 and the Bombers will be the home team for Game 2. Both games will be seven innings. 

 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 7 Kalamazoo Growlers 6 

Dylan Dennis (Loyola Marymount) doubled, brought in three runs, and scored once as the Kokomo Jackrabbits won 7-6 against the Kalamazoo Growlers. Josh Buckley (Grand Canyon) singled three times and brought in two runs. Luke Storm (Duke University) singled twice, scored a run, and brought in two runs for Kalamazoo. 

 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 22 Rockford Rivets 9

Every Traverse City Pit Spitters batter recorded at least one hit in their 22-9 win over the Rockford Rivets. Michael Stygles (Oakland University) hit four singles and a double and scored four runs. Three Rivets players homered. 

 

Madison Mallards 7 Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6

Alex Iadisernia (Elon University) hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Madison Mallards a 7-6 walk-off victory over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Drake Baldwin (Missouri State University) and Michael Fuhrman (University of California, San Diego) also each homered. EJ Exposito (Long Island University) singled twice, doubled, scored two runs, and collected four RBI for the Rafters. 

 

Waterloo Bucks 7 Rochester Honkers 6 — 10 innings

Max Jung-Goldberg (University of San Diego) hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to bring Ryan McNally (UC-San Diego) in to score and give the Waterloo Bucks the lead and eventual 7-6 win over the Rochester Honkers. Jalen Smith (University of California, Davis) walked, singled, doubled, scored twice, and brought in two runs. Zach Cole (Ball State University) hit his second home run of the season for Rochester. 

 

Mankato MoonDogs 13 Duluth Huskies 2 

The Mankato MoonDogs scored seven runs in the fifth inning en route to a 13-2 victory against the Duluth Huskies. Evan Berkey (University of Evansville) walked, singled, doubled, scored twice, and brought in three runs. Mike Boeve (University of Nebraska-Omaha) walked, singled, twice, and brought in both of the Huskies’ runs. 

 

Willmar Stingers 15 Eau Claire Express 11

Grant Kerry (Northwest Nazarene University) walked twice, singled twice, and brought in four runs for the Willmar Stingers in their 15-11 win against the Eau Claire Express. Carter Howell (Augustana University) hit three singles, scored twice, and brought in three runs. Robert Hogan (Texas A&M University) singled twice and tripled, scored once, and brought in three runs for Eau Claire. 

 

Lakeshore Chinooks 13 Wisconsin Woodchucks 1

Brennen Bales (Houston Baptist University) singled, doubled twice, scored once, and brought in five runs for the Lakeshore Chinooks in their 13-1 victory over the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Ethan Vercrumba (Indiana University) walked, singled, doubled, scored once, and brought in a run. The Woodchucks had three hits, all singles. 

 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 7 Green Bay Booyah 6 — 10 innings 

Calvin Harris (University of Mississippi) singled in the bottom of the tenth inning to bring Tavian Josenberger (University of Kansas) home to score the winning run as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders walked off 7-6 against the Green Bay Booyah. Kyte McDonald (Mississippi State University) hit three singles and a double, scored twice, and brought in a run. Kaden Hollow (Dixie State University) singled twice and brought in two runs for Green Bay. 

 

St. Cloud Rox 10 La Crosse Loggers 4 

The St. Cloud Rox scored five runs in the sixth inning en route to a 10-4 victory over the La Crosse Loggers. Otto Kemp (Point Loma Nazarene University) and Jordan Barth (Augustana University) each homered. Bill Ralston (Metro State University of Denver) hit his first home run of the season for La Crosse.
