Owen Boerema (Northwestern- St.Paul) made his first appearance on the mound for the Mankato MoonDogs giving his team a 2-0 victory over the Duluth Huskies. Boerema shut out the Huskies for eight complete innings while striking out eleven batters along the way. Owen Boerema earns his first Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award and will look to face the Waterloo Bucks tomorrow evening.
The Mankato MoonDogs will host the Waterloo Bucks on Wednesday night at 6:35pm.
