Matthew Mebane (South Georgia State College) earned the Northwoods League Player of the Night as he went 3 for 5 at the plate with a double and one RBI. Mebane has had a great start to his season now hitting .327 with 17 hits and 18 RBI overall. Mebane led the Rockford Rivets to a series sweep and their seventh win of the season.
The Rockford Rivets will play against the Traverse City Pit Spitters tomorrow at (5:05pm).
