To conclude Wednesday’s games six teams split their series to improve their record. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and the St.Cloud Rox now have a three game win streak as they take both games of their series. The Battle Creek Battle Jacks and the Rockford Rivets both have a record of 15-15 as they battle for the second place spot in the Great Lakes East. 

Rochester Honkers 7, Bismarck Larks 5

The Rochester Honkers split the series against the Bismarck Larks  7-5. The Honkers scored their first run with an RBI walk by Theo Hardy (San Jose State University). Alex Pimentel (California State University, Long Beach) followed it up with an RBI double. Hardy had three walks on the day and Pimentel had two hits. Nico Regino (San Joaquin Delta College) had the second double of the night in the 5th inning. Jakob Guardado (Pasadena City College) started the game throwing six innings with six strikeouts and allowed only one run to score. 

Kalamazoo Growlers 8, Kokomo Jackrabbits 0

The Kalamazoo Growlers take the series against the Jackrabbits 8-0. Adam Wheaton (Lamar University) had an outstanding performance on the mound throwing eight innings with six strikeouts and did not allow a run to score. Colton Coca (Central Michigan University) led the offense with three hits and two hits by pitches reaching base five times. Trey Lipsey (Ohio State University) hit a double, triple with one RBI and a stolen base. The Growlers combined for 12 hits and 6 stolen bases. 

Battle Creek Battle Jacks 7, Traverse City Pit Spitters 4

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks split the series as they took the win against the Traverse City Pit Spitters 7-4. The Battle Jacks scored the first run of the game with an RBI single by Billy Hancock (Mount Marty College). Hancock also had a triple scoring once as he reached base. Patrick Mills (Indiana University Kokomo) went three for five with an RBI. Dillon Kark (Michigan State University) and Fisher Pyatt (San Diego State University) both had two hits with one RBI. Keegan Batka (Kellogg Community College) had the win on the mound throwing seven innings allowing only two runs to score. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 6, Wausau Woodchucks 5

The Lakeshore Chinooks win game two to split the series against the Wausau Woodchucks 6-5. The Chinooks scored the leading run in the top of the ninth with a home run by Matthias Haas (Cal Poly). Mitch Mueller (Parkland College) was able to hold the Woodchucks, throwing the last two innings with three strikeouts to get the win on the mound. John Bay (Oklahoma State University) contributed to the offense with a double and two RBI. 

Eau Claire Express 3, Willmar Stingers 2

The Eau Claire Express earned their 17th win as they split the series against the Willmar Stingers 3-2. The Express struck first with a two run home run in the second inning by Sam Kuckinski (University of Montevallo). Joe York (California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) scored their final run with an RBI single to center field. Tyler Ingram (University of Illinois at Chicago) earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night throwing a scoreless seven innings giving up only two hits with five strikeouts. 

Green Bay Rockers 3, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 2

The Green Bay Rockers split the two game series as they took the win against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 3-2. The Rockers rallied back to score their three runs in the top of the eighth inning. Griffin Stevens (Tiffin University) drove in the first run with a single. Owen Jackson (University of Toledo) drove in another run with a double to right field. Justin Loer (Xavier University) threw the first 6.1 innings on the mound with two strikeouts and allowed two runs to score. Jacob Conover (Wallace State Community College-Hanceville) had the win by throwing the last 2.2 innings with four strikeouts. 

Rockford Rivets 4, Madison Mallards 2

The Rockford Rivets bounced back to defeat the Madison Mallards 4-2. The Rivets struck first with an RBI single by Cam Mcdonald (University of Illinois). Brody Harding (University of Illinois) scored the third run of the game with a home run for his second hit of the game. Colton Klein (Carthage College) also had two hits with a double. Ty Rybarczyk (University of Illinois) had the win on the mound throwing seven scoreless innings giving up only three hits. 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 15, Kenosha Kingfish 3

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters won their third game in a row as they took down the Kenosha Kingfish 15-3. Jacob Igawa (University of Hawaii) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night going four for four at the plate with a double and four RBI. Igawa reached base six times and scored three times. Ben Ross (Notre Dame College) had three hits with two doubles along with Harry Owen (Consumnes River College) who also had three hits with one double. Seth Stroh (Wichita State University) drove in four runs with a grand slam in the eighth inning. Xavier Rivas (University of Indianapolis) threw the first three innings with eight strikeouts. 

Mankato MoonDogs 10, Waterloo Bucks 6

The Mankato MoonDogs swept the series as they took down the Waterloo Bucks 10-6. Ariel Armas (University of San Diego) led the offense with three hits including a double and a home run. Cade Verduscco (Grand Canyon University) had one hit with two walks and two stolen bases. Kai Roberts (University of Utah) reached base twice with a single and a double scoring once. Simon Gregersen (Des Moines Area Community College) had the win on the mound throwing four innings allowing one run to score. 

St.Cloud Rox 2, La Crosse Loggers 1

The St.Cloud Rox win their third game in a row as they win the series against the La Crosse Loggers 2-1. Brady Prewitt (Colorado State University – Pueblo) went three for three at the plate with a double and a walk. Brice Matthews (University of Nebraska) had the other two hits for the Rox with a walk. Matthew Mcclure (Loyola Marymount University) had the win throwing the first eight innings with five strikeouts giving up four hits.
