Steven Brooks (California Polytechnic State University) from the Willmar Stingers earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, throwing a complete eight innings with six strikeouts giving up four hits and allowing zero runs to score. Brooks has thrown 17 innings this season with 14 strikeouts and now has two wins. Brooks led his team to their first victory of their two game series and their fifth win in a row.
