The Willmar Stingers continue their success as they lead the Great Plains West with a 12-3 record in the second half of the season with a .800 win percentage. Joey Walls earned Northwoods Player of the Night with four hits. The Traverse City Pit Spitters also maintained their lead with another stellar pitching performance to defeat the Jackrabbits 4-1. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 4, Kokomo Jackrabbits 1

The Traverse City Pit Spitters started the series off with a win against the Kokomo Jackrabbits 4-1. The Pit Spitters scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning with a RBI double by Colin Summerhill (Northern Illinois University) and an RBI single by Sam Tackett (Virginia Tech). Summerhill reached base three times with two walks and one hit. Joe Horoszko (Wittenberg University) had the win on the mound throwing the first six innings with three strikeouts giving up three hits and allowing zero runs to score. The Pit Spitters had five hits with three stolen bases earning their second win in a row. 

Kalamazoo Growlers 9, Rockford Rivets 7

The Kalamazoo Growlers rallied back to win the first game of the series against the Rockford Rivets 9-7. Casen Taggart (Centralia College) reached base three times with two singles, a walk and three RBI scoring each time. Zach Spradlin (Ottawa University) also had two hits with two walks and two RBI. Blayne Robinson (Ohio State University) drove in a run in the third inning with a double to right field. Robinson had one hit with a stolen base and two RBI. Noah Stants (Jackson Community College) came into the game in the third inning to throw 4.1 innings with seven strikeouts giving up zero hits. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 4, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3

The Lakeshore Chinooks earned their ninth win of the second half of the season as they defeated the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4-3. The Chinooks struck first, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Joey Spence (Notre Dame) drove in the final two runs of the game with a home run in the fourth inning. Aidan Longwell (Kent State University) had two hits with a triple scoring once. Tyler Gronert (Milwaukee School of Engineering) was the starting pitcher throwing six innings with seven strikeouts allowing one run to score. The pitching staff combined for 12 strikeouts and seven hits to take the first game of the series. 

Kenosha Kingfish 10, Battle Creek Battle Jacks 5

The Kenosha Kingfish won their ninth game against the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 10-5. Taylor Darden (University of the Incarnate Word) reached base four times with two hits, two walks and two RBI. James Mccoy (University of Kentucky) and Jay Beshears (Northwestern University) each had a double with a combined total of three RBI. Alex Buchanan (Southern Illinois University) pitched the third and fourth innings with three strikeouts earning the win. Nick Ferazzi (Rhodes College) closed the game throwing the last inning striking out all three batters. The Kingfish had 11 hits with three doubles on the night. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6, Green Bay Rockers 4

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders took the first game of the series as they defeated the Green Bay Rockers 6-4. Andrew Sojka (California State University, Northridge) led the offense with two hits including a double, walk, RBI and a stolen base scoring each time he reached base. Branden Comia (University of Illinois) drove in two runs with a single and a walk. Kenny Campbell (University of Connecticut) threw the first three innings with four strikeouts giving up one hit. Noah Magee (University of Mississippi) was the closing pitcher throwing 1.2 innings with five strikeouts allowing zero runs to score. J

Willmar Stingers 13, Rochester Honkers 6

With their fourth win in a row, the Willmar Stingers took down the Rochester Honkers 13-6. Joey Walls had a great night at the plate going four for five with a double and two stolen bases. Aidan Byrne contributed with two hits including a walk, double and a stolen base. Drey Dirksen had the only home run for his team in the bottom of the fifth inning to score two runs. John Klein earned the win on the mound throwing the last two innings with two strikeouts. The Stingers had a total of 12 hits to take the first game of the series. 

St.Cloud Rox 5, Duluth Huskies 3

The St.Cloud Rox are working their way to the top of the Great Plains West as they defeated the Duluth Huskies 5-3. Hunter Day (Tarleton State University) earned the win on the mound throwing the first five innings with four strikeouts. Trevor Austin (Mercer University) reached base three times with a double, walk and hit by pitch scoring twice. O’Neil Burgos (Southern University and A&M College) had the second double of the night, scoring as he reached base. The Rox had three hits with six walks to take the win. 

Waterloo Bucks 15, Bismarck Larks 5

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the Bismarck Larks 15-5 to start the series. The Bucks scored six runs in the fourth inning to advance their lead. Caleb Corbin (Iowa Central Community College) reached base six times with three hits, three walks and two RBI with a stolen base. Tai Walton (University of Hawaii) also had three hits with three RBI scoring twice as he reached base. The Bucks had 12 hits and scored in four straight innings to take the lead. Cameron Hagan (University of Hawaii) threw three innings with three strikeouts giving up one hit to earn the win. 

Mankato MoonDogs 8, La Crosse Loggers 7

The Mankato MoonDogs earned their ninth win as they defeated the La Crosse Loggers 8-7. The MoonDogs struck first, scoring three runs in the bottom of the second inning. Boston Merila (University of Minnesota) had three hits with a double and three RBI to lead the offense. Charles McAdoo (San Jose State University) had the only home run for his team to start off the second inning. McAdoo had two hits on the night with two RBI. Jakob Meyer (University of Evansville) finished the game throwing the last inning with three strikeouts. The pitching staff had nine str9, ikeouts with 11 hits from the offense to take the first game of the series. 

Madison Mallards 9, Wausau Woodchucks 7

The Madison Mallards rallied back to take the win against the Wausau Woodchucks 9-7. The Mallards scored five runs in the seventh inning to take the lead. Josh Caron (University of Nebraska) reached base three times with two hits, a hit by pitch and three RBI. Chad McCann (Campbellsville University) also had two hits with the only home run for his team driving in two runs. Noah Smith (University of Louisville) reached base four times with three hits, a walk and two stolen bases. Steven Lacey (Delta State University) was the closing pitcher throwing 1.2 innings with three strikeouts giving up one hit.
