Jake Combs (Southern Illinois University) from the Duluth Huskies earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night throwing six scoreless innings with five strikeouts giving up four hits. Combs has thrown a total of 22 innings this season with 21 strikeouts earning his first win on the mound. Combs led the Huskies to their ninth win as they took down the Bismarck Larks.
The Duluth Huskies will host the Minnesota Mud Puppies tomorrow at 6:35pm.
