Ross Thompson (Heidelberg University) from the Rockford Rivets earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night throwing five innings with five strikeouts allowing only one run to score. Thompson has thrown a total of 57.2 innings this season with 45 strikeouts. Thompson led the Rivets to their 13th win of the second half of the season with their fourth win in a row.
