The Rochester Honkers lose their six game win streak after a shutout win against the Mankato Moondogs. Wisconsin climbs their way up in the Great Lakes West division after earning their eighth win of the season after taking game one against the Wausau Woodchucks. Both team are tied with 8-5 (.615) record in their division.

Lakeshore 4, Madison 5

The Madison Mallards take game one against the Lakeshore Chinooks Saturday evening after scoring five runs on nine hits and one error in the field.

Ryan Sprock (Elon) went 2-for-5 on the evening. Korbyn Dickerson (Louisville) went 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Owen Jackson (Toledo) went 1-for-3 with one double, one walk, and one RBI. Derek Salata (Illinois St) gets the win after throwing 5 innings with three hits, zero runs, one walk, and two strikeouts.

La Crosse 5, Duluth 9

The Duluth Huskies defeat the La Crosse Loggers in game one after winning 9-5. The Huskies are now 6-5 on the season.

Joshua Duarte (Georgetown) went 3-for-3 with a double, one RBI, and one run. Lucas Kelly (Texas A&M) went 2-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, and one run scored. DJ Burke (Undecided – Junior) got the start throwing 5 innings – allowing six hits, three runs, one walk, and four strikeouts.

Battle Creek 6, Kalamazoo 3

Battle Creek sees their way into the win column after taking game one against the Kalamazoo Growlers. They scored six runs on nine hits and had zero errors in the field tonight.

Charlie Rhee (San Diego St) and JT Sokolove (Illinois St) went 2-for-4 on the night for the Battle Jacks. Kyle Ratliff (Southern Illinois – Edwardsville) went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and one run scored. Hunter Varnadoe (Middle Georgia) gets the win after throwing 5 innings with three hits, one run, two walks, and six strikeouts.

Thunder Bay 8, St. Cloud 6

Thunder Bay wins game one after defeating St. Cloud 8-6 Saturday evening. They earned their fifth win of the season with a 5-6 record.

Trey Lewis (South Alabama) went 3-for-6 with two runs. Tyler Kehoe (South Alabama) went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Brayden Kuriger (Nicholis St- LA) had three RBI on the night, leading the team in that category. Evan Hendricks (Texas A&M – Corpus Christi) got the start on the mound throwing 4.1 innings with three hits, four runs, four walks, and three strikeouts.

Fond du Lac 8, Traverse City 14

Tyler Minnick (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Glenn Miller (Eastern Michigan) and Blake Bean (Lenoir-Rhyne) each went 2-for-5 with three RBI on the night. Andrew Mannelly (Wofford College) went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and one run. Aaron Forest (Doane College) got the start throwing 2 innings – allowing six hits, three runs, one walk, and zero strikeouts. The Pit Spitters staff combined for fourteen hits and seven strikeouts.

Rochester 0, Mankato 3

The Mankato MoonDogs break the Rochester Honkers six game win streak after defeating them 3-0 on Saturday night. They scored three runs on seven hits with only one error in the field. The MoonDogs are 6-7 on the season.

Dustin Crenshaw (Grand Canyon University) went 3-for-4 with a double. Ty Rumsey (Evansville) went 1-for-2 with one RBI and two runs scored. John Lundgren (Illinois) got the start throwing 6 innings – allowing three hits, zero runs, and nine strikeouts.

Willmar 9, Waterloo 0

The Willmar Stingers shut down the Waterloo Bucks in 9-0 win Saturday evening. The Stingers tacked on their ninth win on the season and are now 9-2.

Drey Dirksen went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, and three runs scored. Kyle Payne went 2-for-4 with one walk, one RBI and one run scored. Ryan Wiltse got the win after throwing 5.2 innings with one hit, zero runs, one walk, and four strikeouts.

Eau Claire 11, Minot 6

Eau Claire takes game one of the series against Minot after defeating them 11-6. The Express are 6-5 on the season.

Dylan O’Connell (St. Thomas) went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Bronson Rivera (Hawaii) went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and three runs. Lance Lauve (Southeastern Louisiana) got start throwing 5 innings – allowing seven hits, five runs, two walks, and five strikeouts.

Minnesota 19, Bismarck  11

The Minnesota Mud Puppies stay in the win column – defeating the Bismarck Larks 19-11 Saturday evening to take game one. The Mud Puppies went 4-2 on the season.

Isaac Nett (Southwest Minnesota St) went 3-for-6 with two walks, four RBI and three runs scored. Luke Luskey (South Dakota St) went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, one walk, four RBI, and two runs scored. Another hot night for Luskey. Joe Roder (St. Thomas) went 3-for-4 with one RBI and three runs scored. Jaiden Mollet (Northern Iowa Area Community College) got the start throwing 3.1 innings with three hits, eight runs, four walks, and one strikeout.

Wausau 2, Wisconsin  3

The Wisconsin Rapid Rafters defeat the Wausau Woodchucks 3-2 taking game of the series. Wisconsin is now 8-5 on the season and second in the Great Lakes West division.

Jack Basseer (Pepperdine) went 2-for-4 with one run. Jack Gurevitch (San Diego) went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored. Jacob Rosenkranz (Valparaiso) got the start throwing 3 innings – allowing three hits, zero runs, zero walks, and two strikeouts.

Kokomo 8, Rockford 9

The Rivets defeat the Jackrabbits in a tight matchup Saturday evening. They scored nine runs on seven hits to defeat the Jackrabbits 9-8.

Matthew Mebane (South Georgia St) went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run scored. Nick Demarco (Notre Dame) went 2-for-4 on the night. Andrew Delaney (Western Kentucky) also went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. Cale Mccallister (Missouri Southern St) got the start with 4 innings – allowing seven hits, three runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Green Bay 10, Kenosha 13

The Kenosha Kingfish take game one after defeating the Green Bay Rockers 13-10 yesterday evening. The Kingfish are 6-7 on the season.

Sawyer Smith (St. Cloud St) went 3-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Lance Trippel (Florida St) went 1-for-3 with a double, one RBI, and two runs scored. Blane Schmitt (Louisville) had four RBI on the night, leading the Kingfish. Ross Thompson (St. Ambrose) got the start throwing 3 innings with six hits, five runs, zero walks, and three strikeouts. Mason Morris (Mississippi) came in relief throwing 4 innings with one hit, one run, zero walks, and six strikeouts.
