The Willmar Stingers (12-2) and Traverse City Pit Spitters (12-4) lead the league with twelve wins after their series competition Tuesday evening. Waterloo defeated La Crosse in a ten inning ball game to get the series sweep on the week. Kokomo, Battle Creek, Kenosha, and Kalamazoo games were postponed due to weather. Both series matchups will face off again with double headers in July.

St. Cloud 12, Thunder Bay 10

The St. Cloud Rox rallied back to sweep the series against the Thunder Bay Border Cats Tuesday afternoon. The Rox lead the Great Plains West division

Jackson Hauge (Minnesota St – Mankato) went 3-for-5 with a double, four RBI, and one run scored. Weber Neels (Minnesota) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored. John Nett (St. Cloud St) went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and three runs scored. Ryan Chmielewski (Southwest Minnesota St) got the start throwing 5.1 innings – allowing eight hits, six runs, zero walks, and one strikeout.

Fond du Lac 5, Madison 1

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders come out of their losing streak after splitting the series against the Madison Mallards. They split the series 1-1 and now have their fourth win of the season.

Sam Busch (Michigan St) went 1-for-4 with a double, one run, and two RBI. Jacob Anderson (Michigan St) went 1-for-3 with one walk and one run scored. Logan Eisenbarth (Wisconsin – Whitewater) earned the win for the Dock Spiders throwing 5.1 innings – allowing four hits, one run, two walks, and three strikeouts.

Traverse City 1, Rockford 2

The Rockford Rivets split the series against the Traverse City Pit Spitters after defeating them 2-1. The Pit Spitters started threatening with one run at the top of the ninth but couldn’t come through with more. Rockford is now 10-6 on the season.

Ben Hartl (Heartland Community College) went 1-for-2 with a double and reached base three total times. Braden Duhon (McNeese St) went 1-for-3 with two RBI on the night. Brett Sears (Nebraska) started for the Rivets throwing 5 innings – allowing five hits, zero runs, one walk, and four strikeout. Rockford’s pitching staff combined for five hits and eleven strikeouts.

Willmar 8, Mankato 7

The Willmar Stingers swept the series against the Mankato MoonDogs after defeating them 8-7 Tuesday evening. The Stingers lead the Great Plains West division with a 12-2 (.857) record.

Kevin Fitzer went 2-for-5 with a double, home run, one run, and two RBI – leading the Stinger’s offense this evening. Jack Hines went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI.  Kasten Furr scored three times and had a double and one RBI. Nate Zyzda got the start throwing 3 innings – allowed four hits, three runs, three walks, and two strikeouts.

Rochester 8, Duluth 4

The Rochester Honkers split the series after defeating the Duluth Huskies in an 8-4 ball game this evening. The Honkers scored eight runs on seven hits and only had one error in the field. Rochester still leads the Great Plain East division with an 11-5 record. The Huskies are behind them with an 8-6 record.

Nico Regino (Charleston Southern) went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Logan Mock (San Joaquin Delta College) led Rochester’s offense with four RBI tonight. Aidan Dorsch (Folsom Lake College) earned the win after throwing 4 innings – allowing four hits, two runs, three walks, and one strikeout.

La Crosse 4, Waterloo 5

The Waterloo Bucks defeated La Crosse in ten innings and gets the series sweep with a 5-4 win. The Bucks earned their sixth win of the season.

Cole Hill (Stephen F. Austin St) went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Greg Nichols (Illinois St) went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Brandon Fish (Massachusetts – Lowell) went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Blake Burris (Arkansas St) scored the go ahead on a wild pitch in the bottom of the tenth. Patrick Mastrian (Miami – Ohio) got the start throwing 6 innings – allowing two hits, two runs, zero walks, and four strikeouts.

Minnesota 3, Bismarck 13

The Bismarck Larks split the series 1-1 after their 13-3 defeat against Minnesota this evening. Bismarck is now 8-8 (.500) on the season.

Kai Hori (New Orleans) went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. Luc Stuka (California St – Pueblo) went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Dylan Perry (Hartford Community College) went 2-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Alec Danen (Viterbo) earned the win after throwing 6.2 innings with four hits, two runs, four walks, and six strikeouts.

Eau Claire 14, Minot 8

The Eau Claire express scored fourteen runs on sixteen hits to split the series against the Minot Hot Tots this evening. The Express even their record and are 7-7 (.500) on the season.

Ryan Nagelbach (Illinois – Chicago) went 3-for-6 with a triple, home run, two RBI, and two runs scored this evening. Bronson Rivera (Hawaii) went 2-for-3 with a double, three walks, one RBI, and three runs scored. Dylan O’Connell (St. Thomas) went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, and six RBI. Jacob Taggart (Utah Tech) got the start throwing 2.2 innings with five hits, six runs, two walks, and five strikeouts.

Green Bay 6, Wausau 4

The Green Bay Rockers swept the Wausau Woodchucks 6-4 after their offense rallied back from a two run deficit to take the lead in the top of the eighth inning. The Rockers continue to climb their way back up in the Great Lakes West division. Both teams have a 9-7 record on the season.

Cooper Kelly (Kansas) went 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Kyle West (Charleston) went 3-for-5 with a double, one run and one RBI. Brady Miguel (California St – Monterey Bay) went 2-for-3 on the night. Brett Sanchez (Belhaven) got the start for the Rockers, throwing 6 innings – allowed seven hits, two runs, zero walks, and struck out eight.

Wisconsin 6, Lakeshore 1

Wisconsin swept the series against Lakeshore after defeating them 6-1 Tuesday evening. The Rapid Rafters are still in the lead for first in the Great Lakes West division with a 9-6 (.600) record.

Jorge De Goti (Indiana) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Jack Gurevitch (University of San Diego) went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBI, and one run scored. Logan Hugo (Eastern Michigan) had a triple with one RBI and run on the night. Brandon Rogers (Iowa Western Community College) led the Rafter offense this evening going 3-for-6 with one RBI and one run. Hayden Cody (California St – Northridge) came in relief throwing three innings – allowing only two hits, zero runs, zero walks, and struck out five.
