The La Crosse Loggers earned their eighth win of the season after defeating the Thunder Bay Border Cats Friday evening and splitting their series 1-1. Battle Creek looks to bounce back in the win column after taking a three losses in a row to Kenosha. The Willmar Stingers lead the league with a 19-5 record so far.

Traverse City 1, Kalamazoo 6

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Pit Spitters in game three of their series Friday evening. The Growlers scored six runs on nine hits.

Joey Winters (Ottawa – Arizona) went 2-for-3 with two walks, one RBI, and one run scored. Korbin Griffin (Kalamazoo Valley Community College) went 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. Tanner Ware (Oakland) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowed just five hits, one run, one walk, and struck out two.

Rockford 1, Kokomo 3

The Kokomo Jackrabbits took game three of the series going 1-2 against the Rockford Rivets this weekend. The Jackrabbits now hold an 11-14 record.

Tyler Cate (Sioux Falls) went 2-for-3 with a walk, leading the team tallying two hits on the evening. Noah Christenson went 1-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored. Isaac Ontiveros earned the win for the Jackrabbits Friday evening after throwing 6 innings and allowed four hits, one run, zero walks, and struck out five.

Battle Creek 6, Kenosha 8

Kenosha completely swept Battle Creek after taking game two of their double header series and tacking on one more Friday evening. The Kingfish now have an 12-13 record on the season.

Henry Brown (Indiana St) and Tucker Zdunich (Reinhardt) each went 2-for-4 combing for three RBI and two runs scored on the night. Vytas Valincius (Illinoi) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Cole Tolbert (Mississippi) earned the win throwing 7 innings – allowed only four hits, two runs, and struck out five.

Thunder Bay 5, La Crosse 6

La Crosse split the series with the Thunder Bay Border Cats Friday evening after defeating them 6-5. The Loggers tack on their eighth win of the season.

Justin DeCrisco (San Diego) went 3-for-5 with two RBI. Mic Paul (Louisiana St) and Troy Laneve (Vanderbilt) each went 2-for-4 and combined for one run scored. Sam Hart (Indiana Hills Community College) earned the win throwing 1 inning – allowed zero hits, run, walks, and struck out two.

Fond du Lac 1, Wisconsin 3

Wisconsin swept the series against the Dock Spiders Friday evening in a tight 3-1 matchup. The Rapid Rafters earned their fourteenth win of the season.

Jack Gurevitch (San Diego) went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Garrett Broussard (Utah Valley) went 2-for-3 on the evening.. Ryan Kysar (San Diego) earned then win throwing 3 innings and allowed two hits, one run, one walk, and struck out three. Drake Frize (San Diego) got the start on the mound allowing two hits and four strikeouts in three innings thrown.

Green Bay 2, Madison 12

The Madison Mallards take the series against the Green Bay Rockers Friday night. The Mallards scored twelve runs on fourteen hits and only allowed two errors in the field.

Owen Jackson (Toledo) and Canyon Brown (North Carolina A&T) each went 2-for-4 and combined for one RBI and three runs scored. Davis Hamilton (North Dakota St) led the team with four hits and went 4-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Luke Reed (Eastern Kentucky) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowing only one hit, one run, two walks, and struck out seven.

Wausau 2, Lakeshore 10

The Lakeshore Chinooks split the series after winning game two 10-2 Friday evening. The Chinooks now have a 9-16 record on the season.

Drew Townsend went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Hunter Grimes went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and one run scored.  Colin Dailey earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowed one hit, one run, three walks, and two strikeouts.

Waterloo 5, Duluth 6

The Duluth Huskies split the series 1-1 after dropping game one against Waterloo late Thursday evening. The Huskies scored six runs on hits and now have a 14-10 record which is second in the Great Plains East division.

Joshua Duarte (Georgetown) and Caleb Corbin (Iowa Central Community College) combined for four hits and two RBI on the day. Kasen Wells (Texas A&M) went 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs scored. Taiga Yamane (Troy) earned the win throwing 1 inning – allowed zero hits, runs, walks, and struck out two.

Bismarck 17, Minot 14

Bismarck swept their series against the Minot Hot Tots Friday evening. The Larks are at a 11-15 record and still rank fourth in the Great Plains West division.

Mason Le (California St – Northridge) had two hits with a double and six RBI. Ryan Moerman (Illinois) went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. Garrett Yawn (Long Island – Brooklyn) earned the win after coming in relief to throw 2 innings and allowed one hit, one run, four walks, and two strikeouts.

St. Cloud 1, Willmar 2

The Willmar Stingers split the series 1-1 after taking game two 2-1 against the St. Cloud Rox Friday evening. The Stingers are now at 19-5 record, still leading the Great Plains division.

Seven batters in the Stingers lineup had a hit on the evening. Kevin Fitzer (California St – Northridge) tallied one RBI after going 1-for-4 with one run scored. Ryan Wiltse (Saint Mary’s College) earned the win one the mound throwing 5.2 innings and allowed three hits, one run, zero walks, and four strikeouts.

Rochester 2, Eau Claire 3

The Express swept their series against the Rochester Honkers Friday evening after defeating them 3-2. Eau Claire climbs the win column in their division and now has a 13-11 record, ranking third in the Great Plains East right now.

Rayth Petersen (Illinois – Chicago) led the Express offense going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Dylan O’Connell (St. Thomas) went 2-for-2 at the plate with a run scored. Tanner Sagouspe (Cal Poly) earned the win after coming in relief to throw 0.1 innings and allowed zero hits, zero runs, two walks, and zero strikeouts.
