The Battle Creek Battle Jacks are leading the series against Kokomo 4-0. They will play one more game against the Jackrabbits tomorrow, looking to sweep the entire five game series. Thunder Bay tallied their first in against Rochester in their four game series. The Waterloo Bucks upset the Eau Claire Express 9-6 – who was just recently undefeated going into Saturday.

Rochester 6, Thunder Bay 7

Thunder Bay takes game three, defeating the Rochester Honkers 7-6 Saturday evening. The series is led by Rochester who is 2-1 so far.

Tyler Kehoe (South Alabama) led the offense with two hits, scoring once. Logan Johnstone (Washington St) went 1-for-3 with four RBI. Karson Shepherd (Texas A&M) earned the win throwing 0.1 innings – allowing zero hits, runs, walks, and strikeouts. Evans Hendricks (Texas A&M – Corpus Christi) got the start on the mound throwing 5 innings and allowed three hits, three runs, three walks, and five strikeouts.

Madison 13, Wausau 3

The Madison Mallards took game one of the series against the Wausau Woodchucks, winning game one 13-3.

Jake Holcroft (Portland) went 3-for-5 with a double, one RBI, and scored three times. Ryan Sprock (Elon) tallied two hits with three RBI, scoring twice. Jackson Tucker (St. John’s) went 3-for-4 with a home run, one RBI, and three runs scored. Will Simmons (University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill) earned the win throwing 5 innings – allowed three hits, three runs, two walks, and six strikeouts.

Battle Creek 8, Kokomo 0

The Battle Jacks are up 4-0 after defeating the Kokomo Jackrabbits in game four of their five game series. Battle Creek tallied their fifth win on the season.

Spencer Verburg (Central Michigan) went 1-for-2 with three runs scored. Jake Allgeyer (Western Illinois), Blake Salamon (Northwood), and Luke Cheng (Illinois St) each tallied two RBI on the night. Tyler Mckinstry (Davenport) earned the win throwing 5 innings and allowed only two hits, zero runs, three walks, and four strikeouts.

Green Bay 3, Fond du Lac 7

The Dock Spiders defeated the Green Bay Rockers in game one of the series, winning game one 7-3.

Teddy Deters (Xavier) went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and one run scored. Jake Surane (Wisconsin – Oshkosh) also went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and scored once. Joseph Chavana (Trinity) earned the win throwing 6.2 innings – allowing three runs to score and struck out six batters.

La Crosse 14, Minot 5

The La Crosse Loggers defeated Minot 14-5 Saturday evening, defeating them 14-5 in game one of their series.

Gable Mitchell (Iowa) went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI, and scored twice. Aidan Sweatt (Liberty) tallied two hits – a double, three RBI, and two runs scored. Austin Smith (San Diego) tallied a two RBI single and scored once. Smith earned his first win on the mound throwing 4 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, two walks, and four strikeouts.

Willmar 2, Mankato 3

The Mankato Moondogs defeated the Willmar Stingers in game one, defeating them in a tight 3-2 matchup Saturday evening.

Hunter Falido (Hawaii) went 1-for-2 with a double. Kai Roberts (Utah) tallied one RBI double. RJ Elmore (Grand Canyon) earned the win on the mound throwing 2 innings – allowed two hits, one run, zero walks, and two strikeouts.

St. Cloud 7, Bismarck 4

The St. Cloud Rox take game one of the series against the Bismarck Larks, defeating them 7-4.

John Nett (Kansas) went 3-for-4 with three run scored. Michael Mcnamara (Kent St) went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Sawyer Smith (St. Cloud St) also went 1-for-3 with three RBI on the night, leading the Rox offense. Cade Lommel (Creighton) earned the win throwing 5.1 innings with five hits, two runs, three walks, and eight strikeouts.

Minnesota 2, Duluth 11

The Duluth Huskies scored eleven runs off seventeen hits to secure the win 11-2 in game one of their series against the Minnesota Mud Puppies.

Michael Hallquist (Minnesota – Crookston) went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, and two RBI – also scoring twice. Kasen Wells (Texas A&M) went 4-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Raymond Velazquez (Vanderbilt) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Miles Hellums (Sam Houston St) earned his second win on the mound throwing 5 innings – allowed only four hits, two runs, one walk, and struck out nine batters.

Traverse City 5, Wisconsin Rapids 2

The Traverse City Pit Spittes defeated the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in game one of the series, winning 5-2.

Jack Crighton (Clemson) went 3-for-4 on the night, leading the team in hits. Andrew Mannelly (Wolford) went 2-for-3 with a double and scored once. Aren Gustafson (Master’s University) earned his third win on the mound throwing 7 innings – allowing four hits, one run, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Lakeshore 3, Rockford 4

The Rockford Rivets take game one of the series after defeating the Lakeshore Chinooks 4-3 Saturday evening.

Beau Coffman (South Carolina) earned the win throwing 4.2 innings and allowed two hits, zero runs, two walks, and three strikeouts. Matthew Mebane (South Georgia St) went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI, and scored twice. Conner Allen (Southern Arkansas) went 2-for-4 with a double and one run scored. Dustin Allen (San Diego) went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Eau Claire 6, Waterloo 9

The Waterloo Bucks put an end to Eau Claire’s win streak after defeating them 9-6 in game one of their series.

Marcus Heusohn (Lindenwood), Elliot Good (Central Connecticut St), and Cole Hill (Stephen F. Austin St) each went 2-for-5 combining for five RBI and four runs scored. Drew Donaldson (Indianapolis) went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Aaron Savary (Iowa) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowing one run, three walks, and four strikeouts.

Kalamazoo 8, Kenosha 7

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kenosha Kingfish in game one of their series, 8-7.

Jeter Ybarra (Washington) went 3-for-5 with two RBI and scored once. Henry Godbout (Virginia) tallied two hits with two RBI and one run scored. Kevin Krill (Oakland) went 2-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Adam Berghorst (Michigan St) earned the win throwing 7 innings and allowed five hits, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.
