The Waterloo Bucks (6-1) and Kalamazoo Growlers (5-2) tallied their fourth win in a row after the conclusion of Monday’s games. Both teams lead their division so far. Seven out of eleven games featured high scoring contests, with five teams scoring over fifteen runs to secure their wins on the day.

Kalamazoo 17, Battle Creek 4

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Battle Creek Battle Jacks scoring seventeen runs on fifteen hits to take game one of the series.

Anthony Stephan (Virginia) went 3-for-6 with a walk, one RBI, and two runs scored. Myles Beale (Northwood University) went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Gabe Springer (Stanford) went 3-for-6 with three RBI on the night. Mason Meeks (6-1) earned the win throwing 8 innings and allowed four runs, zero walks, and three strikeouts.

Madison 5, Wisconsin Rapids 10

Wisconsin Rapids took games one against the Madison Mallards defeating them 10-5 in game one Monday evening.

David Rivera and Brendan Bobo each went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and combined for three runs scored. Anthony Galason went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Malakai Vetock earned the win throwing 3 innings and allowed five hits, two runs, one walk, and six strikeouts.

Green Bay 7, Wausau 18

The Wausau Woodchucks offense put up eighteen runs against the Green Bay Rockers, winning game one 18-7.

Jesse Donahoe (Georgia St) went 3-for-4 with a double, four RBI, and scored four times. Mark Shallenberger (Evansville) went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, five RBI, and two runs scored. Drew Berkland (Minnesota) tallied three hits with three RBI and two runs scored.

Kenosha 2, Traverse City 5

The Pit Spitters took game one against Kenosha Monday evening, defeating them 5-2.

Glenn Miller (Eastern Michigan) went 2-for-4 with a double with four RBI on the night. Camden Traficante (Embry Riddle) tallied one RBI on the night with a single. Anthony Ramirez (California St – Stanislaus) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowed six hits, two runs, four walks, and two strikeouts.

Kokomo 5, Lakeshore 14

The Lakeshore Chinooks defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits 14-4 Monday evening to take game one of their series.

Will Johannes (Madison College) went 3-for-4 with two home runs, seven RBI, and scored four times. Trey Becker (Loyola Marymount) tallied two hits with two RBI on the night. Mitch Alba (Eastern Illinois) earned his second win throwing 5.1 innings and allowed six hits, three runs, three walks, and five strikeouts.

Waterloo 16, Eau Claire 9

The Waterloo Bucks swept their three game series against the Eau Claire Express Monday evening. The Bucks took game three 16-9.

Marcus Heusohn (Lindenwood) went 5-for-6 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs scored. Cole Hill (Stephen F. Austin St) went 4-for-6 with one RBI and one run scored. Elliot Good (Central Connecticut St) tallied four hits with three RBI – scoring three times. Noah Larkin (Cal Poly) earned the win after coming in relief for an inning late in the game. Johnny Blake (Clarke University) got the start on the mound throwing 5.1 innings – allowing five runs, one walk, and two strikeouts.

Thunder Bay 8, Duluth 12

The Duluth Huskies defeated the Thunder Bay Border Cats 12-8 in game one of their series Monday evening.

Joshua Duarte (Georgetown) went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Kasen Wells (Texas A&M) went 3-for-5 with a triple, three RBI, and three runs scored. David Stich (Angelo St) earned the win throwing 1 inning and allowed one hit, two runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Minot 7, Mankato 8

The Mankato MoonDogs defeated the Minot Hot Tots in a tight 8-7 matchup Monday evening. The MoonDogs earned their third win of the season.

Dustin Crenshaw (Grand Canyon) went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Kip Fougerousse (Evansville) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored once. Brendan Hord (Evansville) had a three RBI double on the evening. Grant Garza (Tarleton St) earned the win throwing 1.1 innings and allowed three hits, zero runs, and three strikeouts.

Bismarck 6, Rochester 12

The Rochester Honkers scored twelve runs on nine hits to secure the win against the Bismarck Larks Monday evening.

Ben North (Creighton) went 2-for-3 with two walks and scored twice. Eight batters in Rochester’s lineup tallied at least one hit on the night. Nico Regino (Charleston) put up three on the board after blasting a three run home run. Cole Mahlum (Dakota County Tech) earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed five hits, one run, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Rockford 16, Fond du Lac 10

The Rockford Rivets took game one against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, defeating them in a high scoring 16-10 matchup.

Dustin Allen (San Diego) went 2-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, and three runs scored. Jace Rinehart (South Carolina Upstate) tallied two hits with a double and five RBI on the night. Khalil Walker (New Mexico) went 3-or-6 with two RBI and three runs scored. Landen Southern (Anderson) earned the win throwing 4 innings and allowed only two hits, two runs, two walks, and struck out six batters.

St. Cloud 2, Willmar 16

The Willmar Stingers get a shutout win against the St. Cloud Rox after putting up sixteen runs against them Monday evening.

Andrew Sojka (California St -Northridge) went 2-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI, and two runs scored. Aidan Byrne (Minnesota St – Mankato) went 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs scored. Kyle Payne (Northeast Nazarene) drove in two off a single. Sam Malec (Minnesota) earned the win throwing 5.1 innings and allowed two hits, zero runs, two walks, and struck out three.
