The Northwoods League featured an eleven game slate with the Eau Claire Express topping the La Crosse Loggers in a 1-0 shutout victory after coming from a few days off. The Express are ranked fourth in the Great Plains East division with a 15-15 (.500) record. La Crosse holds a 25-6 (.806) record, still leading that division.

 

Kalamazoo 18, Battle Creek 4

Anthony Stephan went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI. Banks Tolley went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, five RBI, and scored four times. Korbin Griffin went 4-for-6 with a home run and five RBI. Adam Berhorst earned the win throwing 5 innings and allowed three hits, two runs, three walks, and four strikeouts.

Wisconsin Rapids 10, Madison 5

James Bornich went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. Kyle Carlson went 2-for-4 with a triple and one RBI. Ty Johnson went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, and five RBI. Brycen Parrish earned the win throwing 5.1 innings and allowed eight hits, four runs, two walks, and five strikeouts.

Kenosha 4, Traverse City 15

Devin Hukill went 3-for-4 with four RBI and scored once. Cooper Mills went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Colin Summerhill went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. Andrew Mannelly went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Parker Brosius tallied two runs with a single. Quinn Berglin earned the win throwing 1.1 innings and allowed two hits and one strikeout.

Kokomo 1, Rockford 5

Bennett Eltoft went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run scored. Jace Rinehart went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Brendan Summerhill went 2-for-5 with two doubles and scored once.

Lakeshore 7, Wausau 8

Dwight Allen went 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Michael Adair tallied one RBI off a single. Michael Maginnis drove in two runs off a single. Peyton Schofield earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed six runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Minot 1, St. Cloud 13

Noah Greise went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Michael McNamara went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. John Nett went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Ethan Esch earned his third win on the mound throwing 6 innings and allowed five hits, one runs, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Duluth 3, Waterloo 11

Elliot Good went 2-for-3 with a home run, one RBI, and three runs scored. Brandon Fish went 2-for-5 with a double, home run, and five RBI. Marcus Heusohn went 2-for-5 with one run scored. Charlie Bogue tallied three RBI on the day. Brandon Exley earned the win throwing 2 innings and allowed zero hits, zero runs, two walks, and six strikeouts.

Eau Claire 1, La Crosse 0

Dylan O’Connell tallied the games only run of the day. Reed Latimer, Bronson Rivera, and Brigs Richartz each tallied a hit. Kale Hopke earned the win throwing 7 innings and allowed three hits, zero runs, one walk, and eight strikeouts.

Rochester 11, Mankato 7

Brendan O’Sullivan and Dario Gomez each tallied two hits and combined for three doubles, five RBI, and two runs scored. Andy Miller went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and scored twice. Franka Craska earned the win throwing 5.1 innings and allowed six hits, five runs, one walk, and one strikeout.

Green Bay 9, Fond du Lac 3

Cooper Kelly went 2-for-3 with two walks and scored twice. Sam Polk went 1-for-4 with a two run double and scored once. Jojo Jackson went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI on the night. Logan Lee earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed five hits, two runs, two walks, and four strikeouts.

Thunder Bay 1, Willmar 12

Kevin Fitzer went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Sean Rimmer also tallied three hits that included two home runs with four RBI. Aidan Byrne went 3-for-4 with one run scored. Ethan Stade earned the win throwing 5 innings and allowed three hits, zero runs, zero walks, and six strikeouts.
