The Green Bay Rockers are looking to advance to the Great Lakes Championship Monday evening after taking down the Madison Mallards in game one. The St. Cloud Rox are on a two game win streak with defeating the Willmar Stingers and are looking to get their third after facing them for game two Monday evening. The Pit Spitters took game one against Kalamazoo 3-2.

 

Willmar 3, St. Cloud 4

Anthony Mata went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI on the night. Jackson Hauge went 1-for-3 with one run scored. Connor Wietgrefe earned the win throwing 6 innings and gave up seven hits, three runs, three walks, and struck out three batters.

Kalamazoo 2, Traverse City 3

Parker Brosius went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI on the night. Camden Traficante went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Cole Prout went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Aren Gustafson earned the win throwing 8 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, two walks, and three strikeouts.

Green Bay 8, Madison 4

Kendall Ewell went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and scored once. Jojo Jackson drove in one run off a double as his only hit of the night. Nainoa Cardinez went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Sam Polk went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Brett Sanchez got the start and the win on the mound throwing 6.1 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, one walk, and three strikeouts.

La Crosse 2, Eau Claire 1

Brandon Fields went 1-for-3 with a one run double. Ben Ziegler-Namoa also went 1-for-3 with one RBI and scored off Fields’ double, scoring the games only two runs. Tony Pluta earned the win throwing 2 innings and allowed zero hits, zero runs, four walks, and three strikeouts.
