Stingers announce returning players

WILLMAR, MN - The Willmar Stingers announced that six members from the 2013 team will be back as they open their fifth season of Northwoods League action in late May. These are the first players to sign for next year in preparation for the 2014 season at Bill Taunton Stadium.

Loggers Coaching Staff Remains Intact for 2014

LA CROSSE, WIS. – The La Crosse Loggers baseball club announced that pitching coach Mike Siwiec, third base coach Brian Lewis and first base coach Juan Calderon will be returning for the 2014 season and reuniting with field manger Jason Nell in the Logger dugout.

Rafters Announce Returning Players for 2014

Wisconsin Rapids, WI- Thursday, October 10th, 2013. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters have announced that four players from the 2013 team will be returning to Wisconsin Rapids next summer. Outfielder Taylor Stell (Texas), right-handed pitcher John Kravetz (Illinois), catcher/infielder Michael Jurgella (St. Cloud State), and right-handed pitcher Brandon Schmidt (Central Arkansas) have signed contracts to return in 2014.

Hollod to return to Stingers for fifth season

WILLMAR, MN - The Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League announced today that Matt Hollod will return for his fifth season as the team’s field manager for the 2014 season. Hollod managed the Stingers to a team record-tying 41-29 record in 2013, with 23 wins coming in the first half of the season, narrowly missing out on a second straight playoff berth.

Honkers Hire Bowman As Field Manager for 2014

(Rochester, MN)-- The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today that Matt Bowman, last year’s pitching coach and current pitching coach at the University of Sioux Falls, will be the team’s field manager for the 2014 Northwoods League season. Bowman takes over for Adam White, who will stay on campus next summer at Oral Roberts.
