After nearly a month-long journey of fans voting on various media personalities around the St. Cloud area in conjunction with March Madness taking place, the winner of the St. Cloud Rox 2019 Capital One Media Madness Bobblehead Bracket has been decided.
The winner of the Capital One Media Madness Bobblehead Bracket is Randy Rothstein, who has been at 1150 AM KASM since 1998 as Sports Director, Sales Executive and Office Manager.
Rothstein is known as the “Voice of the Huskies” and broadcasts Albany Huskies football, boys basketball and boys baseball. He also covers Central Minnesota amateur baseball with play-by-play broadcasts and weekly round-ups on the “Dick Putz Show” every Sunday at 7 p.m. during the amateur baseball season. Rothstein is also a co-host of the popular “Afternoon Delight Show” from 1-3 p.m. every Wednesday.
In partnership with Capital One, the Rox kicked off the Capital One Media Madness Bobblehead Bracket on March 4 with a field of 16 on-air or media personalities from around the St. Cloud area. Fans had the ability to vote daily at www.stcloudrox.com on matchups within each round until an ultimate winner was voted on in the championship round.
With being crowned the champion of the Capital One Media Madness Bobblehead Bracket, Rothstein will receive his very own custom bobblehead that will be given away to the first 400 fans at the August 8 Rox game at the Rock Pile.
