Braden Calise (INF, University of Central Florida)

Calise posted back-to-back multi-hit games to start the week, scoring three runs in each of those contests. He opened the Kansas State series on Friday with his third three-hit games in as many weeks, raising his batting average to .292 for the season.

Dominic Castellano (LHP, University of Central Florida)

Castellano put together the best outing of his career on Sunday against Kansas State, allowing no earned runs with eight strikeouts in 5 ⅔ innings to earn the win. With a .146 opponents’ batting average that leads all UCF pitchers, Castellano has a 3.34 earned run average for the season and carries a 0.65 mark over his last three appearances (13 ⅔ innings).

Hayden Coon and Candon Dahle (RHP, Brigham Young University)

Coon started in Saturday’s series finale at Texas, conceding one run with five strikeouts in 2 ⅔ innings, while Dahle recorded two clean outs a day prior in relief. The two have combined for a 2.62 earned run average this season, with Coon’s ERA of 0.96 still leading the Cougars by a wide margin.

Hunter Day (RHP, Missouri State University)

Day threw a combined five scoreless innings with three strikeouts in two relief appearances against Southeast Missouri and Bradley. His work helped the Bears pitching staff to two shutouts as part of a 3-2 record last week.

Brandon Jaenke (RHP, Viterbo University)

Jaenke allowed two earned runs across five innings Saturday against Mayville State, striking out eight. He now owns a 3.42 earned run average across his last four starts and still leads the V-Hawks with 13.03 strikeouts per nine innings.

Kade Lewis (INF, Butler University)

Lewis homered for a third consecutive game on Friday at Creighton, opening the scoring in a 5-1 Bulldog win. Twenty-nine games into his freshman season, Lewis now leads Butler in home runs (nine), runs batted in (34), slugging percentage (.774) and OPS (1.234).

Piercen McElyea (RHP, Tarleton State University)

McElyea punched out a season-high six Seattle hitters on Friday as he started in a 9-3 Texans win. He now ranks just one off the team lead with 30 strikeouts in 28 ⅓ innings on the season.

Tanner Recchio (INF, University of St. Thomas)

Recchio tagged his first collegiate home run, a three-run shot late in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader against Omaha. He then walked twice in game two, helping the Tommies to a series-ending win.

Logan Reddemann (INF/RHP, University of San Diego)

Reddemann started on the mound Saturday against Loyola Marymount, going seven innings for the second consecutive week and allowing one run with no walks and five strikeouts. Earning a win for the second consecutive game, Reddemann moved his earned run average to 0.50 over his last three outings (18 innings).

Sawyer Smith (INF/RHP, St. Cloud State University)

Smith extended his hit streak to six games by going 7-for-17 in a four-game series at Northern State, driving in two runs in each of the final two games. The two-way Husky also recorded five outs on the mound without conceding a run and now leads the team with 42 hits, 29 RBI and a .591 slugging percentage.
