TURNING THE CORNER
The Rox have the chance to secure a series win and a winning record in Bismarck this season tonight. St. Cloud has turned the corner in every facet of the game whether that is starting pitching, runs, and plate appearance success. ROX- Brandt Thompson gets his second start of the season for St. Cloud. His first start went well as he went five innings of two-run ball where he struck out four, walked one, and allowed two hits in his winning effort. He is the last Rox starter to pitch for a win in his personal column.
BIS- Luke Zimmer will get his first start of the season for Bismarck. He played his spring ball at the University of Jamestown where he posted a 3.99 ERA in 56.1 Innings this season. In those innings, he struck out 55, walked 25 and allowed 57 hits.
