On the pitching side of the story, The Rox have pitched very well since new pitching coach and former Rox pitcher Evan Johnson got into town. STC- Phil Brennaman will make his eighth appearance and third start of the season this evening. Brennaman sports a .51 ERA over 17.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 20, allowed seven total hits, and has the lowest WHIP on the team of players with over 15 innings pitched.
MOT- Ayden Sauerbrei will get the start tonight for the Hot Tots. Sauerbrei brings an ERA of 2.89 this season with 20 strikeouts having allowed 12 hits over his innings. His last outing went well where he went five and two-thirds innings of three-run ball against Badlands on the 30th of June.
