ROX CLOSE IN ON FRANCHISE HISTORY
St. Cloud has a chance at some franchise history over their four game homestand out of the all-star break. Jackson Hauge is one home run shy of breaking the Rox single season all-time home run record that is held by Adam Martin who hit 10 long balls during the 2013 campaign for the Rox. Conversely, Sawyer Smith is one steal away from breaking Drew Avans’ single season stolen base record that Avans set during his 2017 season where he stole 30 bags. Smith sits with 30 swipes on the season as of now so be sure to pay attention when Sawyer works his way on base.
PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
STC- Dallin Harrison will make start number three on the season for himself tonight. Harrison who plays his spring ball at the University of San Diego, has pitched is way to a 1.40 ERA this season with a WHIP of 0.82. Dallin pitched against Minot in his last start on the 15th where he went six innings of one run ball allowing only seven baserunners and striking out four batters. St. Cloud is 5-1 this season when Harrison pitches with the only loss coming to Duluth where Harrison threw six no-hit innings.
MOT- Quinn Hocom is slated to make the start for the Hot Tots tonight as he looks to face the Rox for the second time out of his four appearances this season. Across those appearances, he has pitched 9.1 innings and has walked 14 batters over those innings. He sports a 10.61 ERA with Minot this season and has allowed 11 earned runs and has an inflated WHIP of 2.89.
