ROX ROAR IN RECORD BREAKING OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN
It was an historic season for the Rox offensively under first-year Field Manger Nick Studdard. Throughout the 2024 regular season the Rox have set several franchise records as well as some individual marks as well. The Rox set team records for Home Runs (65), runs scored (494) stolen bases (174), team SLG% (.418) and team OPS (.807). Jackson Hauge (Kansas) set two individual records for St. Cloud this season as well with his 12 long balls and SLG% of .597 both of which are highs for an individual player in a single season in franchise history. Sawyer Smith (Kansas) also tied the single season stolen base record with his 30 swipes on the season.
PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
STC- Dallin Harrison will make the start for the Rox in the series opener. Harrison hails from the University of San Diego and has been the Rox ace of staff since entering the starting rotation. Across the regular season, Dallin has pitched across nine games including six starts and has an ERA of 1.17 and has secured a WHIP of 0.81, both of which lead the team. Against Willmar this year, he has pitched in two games with 2.2 Innings pitched, collecting four K’s and has not allowed a run.
WIL- Ryan Wentz is the probable starter for the Stingers in game one tonight. Wentz who is a California born ballplayer has pitched in eight games this season and has made eight starts and has amassed 31.2 innings. In those innings he has struck out 36 and walked 17. On the road this season, Wentz has a 6.00 ERA and a 1.67 WHIP. He has pitched against the Rox this season and went three scoreless innings against St. Cloud on June 21.
