Making a difference, one backpack at a time. The Larks, Basin Electric, Nyhus Tax Services and BNSF Railway understand the importance of equipping today’s youth with the tools necessary to be successful in the classroom. That’s why together we have developed the Backpack Giveback Program.
The Backpack Giveback Program helps provide students in need with with school supplies.
This season we encouraged parents and their children to join us at the ballpark for our donation drive-thru on Friday, August 14th starting at 8 am.
All we need you to do is:
- Bring two school supply items
- Stay in your car, donate your supplies and drive away with the best baseball backpack in town (backpack pictured above).
ONLY 300 BACKPACKS AVAILABLE, so get to the ballpark early!
All school supplies will assist local kids in the community through Carrie’s Kids.
Carrie’s Kids is a North Dakota non-profit that believes children and teens are created with a purpose. They create a safe learning environment for at-risk or homeless youth in the Bismarck/Mandan area. To learn more about Carrie’s Kids click here.
