BISMARCK, ND– The Bismarck Larks are excited to release their full promotional schedule for the 2017 season.  The schedule is jam packed with amazing fireworks shows, national entertainment acts, specialty jersey nights, and a Minnesota Twins World Series Champion!

Opening Week

The Larks Opening Week runs Tuesday, May 30 – Friday, June 2 with numerous festivities planned each night. Opening Night and the first Friday Night Fireworks games will also both feature post game firework shows.

Entertainment Acts

America’s Got Talent’s Mad Chad the Chainsaw Juggler will kick off the Larks entertainment act schedule by performing numerous chainsaw juggling acts throughout the game on June 17 & 18. Human cannonball Dave “The Bullet” Smith will entertain fans by shooting himself out of a 65-foot-long cannon from centerfield to home plate on June 29 & 30. On July 22 & 23, The hilarious Rally the Mascot will team up with the Larks very own Clark the Lark to entertain fans all evening. The very popular Inflatamaniacs will be in town August 5 & 6 and the Larks entertainment schedule will wrap up August 12 & 13 with the high-flying, acrobatic performance of the Chicago Boyz.

Friday Night Fireworks

The Larks will feature four different post-game Friday Night Firework shows that will dazzle and amaze all in attendance. The shows are shot from three different locations on the field for an up-close experience.  These shows will take place on June 2, July 7, August 4, and August 11. The Larks will also host two additional shows, one on Opening Night (May 30) and another on July 3 for RED, WHITE, & BOOM Night.

Specialty Jerseys

The Bismarck Larks will introduce three specialty jerseys this year which will all be up for auction during each game to benefit local non-profits. The Bismarck Cancer Center’s Hope in All Colors jersey (June 22), United Way’s German Lederhosen Jersey (July 8), and a We Support the Badge Jersey (July 22).

Celebrity Appearances

Minnesota Twins 1987 World Series Champion Juan Berenguer will be in the house on July 9. Juan will be signing autographs and we’ll see if he still has anything left in the tank when he throws out the first pitch. The Larks are also excited to host four Medora performers throughout the season including Emily Walters (June 1), the cast of Medora Musical (TBD), Tigirlily (July 9 or 10), and Theodore Roosevelt himself (August 3 or 4).

Weekday Promotions

The Larks season will include a few weekly promotions including McQuade’s Case of the Mondays (beer specials each Monday), Edgewood Vista’s Silver Slugger Tuesdays (fans 55+ receive special benefits at the merchandise and concession stands throughout the game), and each Friday and Saturday fans can play Baseball Bingo courtesy of Edgewood Vista.

Limited Number of Scheels 7-Game Packs Still Available, Single Game Tickets on Sale May 1

Due to the limited seating at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, the Larks are encouraging fans to purchase the Scheels 7-Game Pack. The package is the only way to ensure tickets to 7 of our best games (promotional nights) and include free food thru the 3rd inning, a Larks jersey, hat, first ever bobblehead, and start at $15/ticket.
