Service With A Smile: Suzanne Thorenson
Welcome to the first homestead of the season, Larks fans! As you settle into your seats with snacks in hand and excitement in the air, let’s shine the spotlight on one of our superstar game day staff members, Suzanne Thorenson. Always ready with a bright smile and a friendly wave, Suzanne has become a beloved fixture at our games over her four seasons with the team.
Suzanne is hitting a personal home run as she celebrates her 28th wedding anniversary with her husband, Sean, a creative whiz and instructor at Bismarck State College. Their son Mason, who once interned with us in 2019, now lives in Arizona. Their other son, Chase, and his wife Autumn, are making strides at NDSU in Fargo.
When Suzanne isn’t lighting up the ballpark, she embraces the great outdoors or getting crafty. From hiking the serene trails of North Dakota to putting brush to canvas, she knows how to make the most of every moment. Let’s not forget the Twins games—Suzanne is a hardcore fan, texting play-by-plays to Mason, turning each game into a family affair.
Why does Suzanne keep coming back to us each summer? Well, aside from her 5-7 mile walking workouts on game days (who needs a gym, right?), it’s the electric atmosphere of the ballpark that she can’t resist. It’s the roar of the crowd, the crack of the bat, and, most importantly, the friendships she’s made here. The Larks community has become her summer family, and she lights up our world as much as we hope we light up hers.
So as you cheer on our Larks today, if you spot Suzanne, give her a wave or stop by for a chat. Here’s to making more memories, sharing more laughs, and enjoying another fantastic season.
