Mason Pierzchalski 2016 OmahaBISMARCK, ND The Bismarck Larks announced today the signing of Mason Pierzchalski, a junior infielder from North Dakota State University.

Pierzchalski is a 6-foot-2 infielder from Sammamish, Wash. He played plenty this past season for the Bison, playing in all 54 games, tallying a .251 batting average with 45 hits in 179 at bats, along with 20 RBI’s. He also ranked second among all fielders at NDSU with 78 fielding assists.

Talking about his previous experience in Summer Collegiate Baseball, he sees the Northwoods League as “an opportunity to experience the life and schedule of a minor-league baseball player.” He’s also looking forward for the travel schedule all summer, getting the chance “to travel all over the Midwest and play in front large crowds every night.”

untitledPlaying in the Larks inaugural season, he’s ready to make his mark in Bismarck. “To play the game I love every night, and to compete at such a high level will greatly help improve my game.” Mason is also excited to play against his Bison teammates this summer, with many players signing contracts with the Bison throughout the Northwoods League.

Ultimately, his dream is to someday make to “the minor-league level, and to play baseball as long as  possible.” You can watch Mason chase his dream by purchasing ticket packages online at larksbaseball.com, and calling the Larks front office (701) 557-7600.
