BISMARCK, ND – The wait is nearly over Larks fans. The inaugural season for the Bismarck Larks will commence in exactly one week from today.

The Game

The team will take on the Eau Claire Express at their home ballpark on Tuesday, May 30th with the first pitch scheduled at 7:35 p.m. The Larks will be led by Field Manager Sean Repay, along with Hitting Coaches Brandon Nelson and Ryan Snyder, and Pitching Coach Karsten Whitson.

The Opening Night opponent features an Express team that finished 3rd in the Northwoods North Division at 45-27 last season. Even more success followed the team’s regular season efforts when the Express finished as runner ups to the Wisconsin Rapid Rafters in the Northwoods Championship Series.

Notable alumnus from the Eau Claire Express are Los Angeles Angels OF Kole Calhoun and Detroit Tigers P Jordan Zimmerman.

Opening Night Promotions

The first of many promotions throughout the 2017 season for the Larks is the KYFR Opening Night & Post-Game Firework Show. You’ll want to make sure that you stay after the final out of the ballgame to see the Bismarck sky lit up. The National Anthem will also be performed by former Medora Musical host and the “Queen of the West” Emily Walter.

The promotions don’t stop there on Opening Night. There will be a Magnet Schedule Giveaway so all fans can stay updated when the Larks on are on the road and at home.

Opening Night Fundraiser

When the Larks take on the Express in their first ever game it’ll also be Junior Achievement Fundraiser Night. Opening Night kicks off one of our several fundraiser nights throughout the inaugural 2017 season.

The Ballpark

The home of the Larks, Dakota Community Bank and Trust Field at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, is more than ready for its fans. The ballpark is plastered with Larks paraphernalia and signage at every turn.
